He needs to prove himself in League One and make up for the disaster that was last season. More impact in (defensive) midfield, more impact going forward (assists), more dominance. Ar 25, there's still potential. About time it shows.

He was a crap signing for many reasons, but he's the one player that I would never level this kind of accusation at. He doesn’t have any skill that a manager could focus on at the expense of the rest of his nothingness. He plays football like my dog chasing a split tennis ball, he bolts to where the ball left the foot and carries on in that direction even after watching it pass by. I found it quite funny in the first half of the season when we signed him where, as a defensive midfielder, he went about 3 months and only won about 3 tackles or something ridiculous like that Edited 22 July by moore_94 3

He wont leave because clubs won't pay him the money we are, unless we subsidise his wages. No one will pay money for him because he hasn't proven hes worth anything, definitely no where near the money we paid for him. And why would any buy him? He's been anonymous in a team that has been relegated every year he's been here. Wake up people, he's here for another three years. 3

What sticks from last season with regards to Skipp is him running around a lot. That's it. Doesn't win tackles, doesn't block, doesn't get into it, doesn't come up with assists, can't score (although I don't expect this from him, given his position on the field). No long balls, either. He's a bit like a ghost. We literally just pay him for appearing. Should he stay, I expect a LOT more from him, needs to have more impact on the pitch. Maybe him being so utterly ineffective is also down to bad coaching in the past. 3
