Just sensible decision making would have helped…… it just really compounds the situation when you see the likes of Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford and Fulham doing as well as they are….. How badly we’ve been run is something you can’t sugar coat…. It’s unfathomable, from the success we’ve had, and money we’ve raised through that success and through player sales that we’re now in league 1, we sold a Maguire for £80m for **** sake, and we’re now loaning players from Brighton? I don’t think I’ve got any crumb of respect left for King Power and Top, nothing, I wont remember them fondly, I’ll remember them for throwing away the rarest opportunity in English domestic football. I don’t think I even trust them to sell the club properly….

Presumably they are running an auction type sale, they might find they go exclusive with one party if a) the price is right and b) they can deliver quickly. They might take a small haircut on the price if they get reassurances on the funding early doors and it will go to completion rather than collapse at the last minute. 

When will any interested party get hold of the necessary financial details to go through it with a magnifying glass and adjust their offers accordingly?

Most of the money in football seems to come from either America or the Middle East. They seem to understand that there will be a few years of initial investment that will hit them hard and then they’ll possibly reap the benefits further down the line.

 

Will a British based consortium have the finances available to take us where we want to go?. Or will they be looking for an immediate return on their investment?

I would assume after an initial process of vetting to tell whether they are a serious bidder i.e. have proof of fund etc, you aren't going to let any tom, dick or harry go thought your financial in fine detail.

Walkers are own by PepsiCo no chance they are buying a football.

 

Bloor Homes and Triumph are owned by John Bloor so it not really a consortium, can't see it Ric

If we were to go into admin then there is the risk that someone buys us with the intention of hoping we get promoted and then can be flipped. no money to invest - just vibes. 
 

at least with the owners trying to get such a high price, we should avoid any buyers that would look to do that. If king power are in a corner and have to sell at whatever they can get then that risk increases.

Agree with most of this but arguably makes sense to divide their time in charge between Khun Vichai's leadership and Top's. The former I will remember very happily, they gave us the best days of our football supporting lives. But the period under Top have been unforgivable - just a handful of sensible decisions and things could be so different now.

Yeah I meant Bloor Homes/Triumph. Massive links to Thailand and now ran by John's sons. Let's hope they are more business savvy than Aiyawatt allegedly is 😂

Maybe more short term buy, buy the club for like a four year project then sell it at an handsome profit in years to come when the club is in more of an attractive position. 

 

Think any good buisnessman can see the club is worth more than £200million. So buy now think later to some.
