Seagrave needs to be kept if said owners have any ambitions to be PL again but a lot of it needs mothballing and given minimum maintenance (golf course / some of the pitches) or shut down (swimming pool, bedrooms). Consider playing the women there (not sure of the rules). Shut the kitchen and have caterers.

 

I'm sure with some radical thinking costs can be made.

I’d guess every month at the moment we’re loosing money and the player sales are just prolonging the inevitable point when we’re in administration. 
I still stick to what I said a few months ago that by Christmas we will be in administration if we haven’t been sold.

Why would they want to share a training ground with us when they extensively renovated their own just a couple of years ago?

Whilst i'm no fan of rugby, is there not something in utilising these unvelievable facilities across the football and rugby teams, as well as Loughborough University being the best in it's class for sport and so utilising it and getting associated funding. 

 

Buy Leicester, buy Tigers and take advantage of the available facilities. Don't ever do a ground share.

Bristol "sport" seem to have this model, Football, Rugby and Basketball under one umbrella. Funnily enough we're another city perfectly set up for that model

There are many problems with the current ownership. Largely being shit at running a football club. But the debt argument is completely over blown. There isn't much.

Good idea, annoyed i didnt think of this one 😁

 

Should definitely do a ground share though. Mental you have two stadiums within a mile that cant be used at the same time.

Would be great but likely only by a locally led consortium.

Annoyingly Breedon probably could be an option but their exec chairman is now involved in Liverpool (ex QPR).

They tried the tigers stuff 20 years ago but tigers didnt want to as they thought they were a bigger club. Rugby is skint now and things have moved on a bit so who knows.

I agree. The club is probably surviving at the moment on the season ticket money, but this won't last long with our wage bill.

We have massive outgoings & our income must be really low - TV money is crap, hospitality has fallen off a cliff, matchday ticket sales & other revenues down etc.

We must be losing a massive amount weekly & unless probably 9 high earnings players leave before the end of the month, I think we are in an even bigger mess than we think

Club is surviving at the moment because king power have been footing the bill. I think they've lost the ability to do that.

I've got a mate who suggested this to me. Said he'd overheard some lad on a dog walk arguing with his Dad about the idea. Had 3 schnauzers between them.

If that is the case, we’ll see no  January / winter transfer spend, contract renewals etc, so we could just be spinning the wheels. It could be a pretty bleak season. 

No new signings helps us immensely to get back on track, financials trumps pitch performance at the moment.  Its baffling we still have a lot of people wanting us to spend, get new players etc.
Given our new signings are still of low standard, we want as little inbound signings as possible now under this ownership.
