It is a must win really. Simply cannot lose. Imagine the negativity losing to Northampton at home, in any circumstances. Soz, but it's true. Would then put even more pressure on the first game away a Notts, which will already be pressurised enough. Must win.

We're playing in a league lower than we would've been if the weak management, financial mess, and the cock ups we all know about, been addressed and players had been more motivated and committed,. That said, I expect we'll do OK on Saturday.

 

 Longer term, what's needed is a confident, vocal keeper (not convinced about Stol) and strong leadership from the back.

 

Still a bit of a worry that the overpaid players that remain still won't be all that motivated during a difficult season.

Will never understand why people are happy to go out the cup, I get it further into the season depending on form etc but there is no reason why we shouldn't give the strongest side available a run out here.

Play full strength, hopefully get a win and a good feeling around the place pre-Notts County. 

As much as it’s been a positive pre -season we finished last season with 3 wins in 22 games so important to change that mentality as early as possible!

Anyone know why you can’t sit anywhere in the stadium. Are ticket sales really that bad here ? I assume we will put the Northampton fans in the family stand again? Northampton tickets are cheaper than ours too which is a complete p*** take . Still under £30 for me and my 14 yr old lad so not too bad I guess

I have renewed our season tickets but can't bring myself to pay out for this one . I suspect that a lot of season ticket holders feel the same. Might be some form of PTSD lol.

It’s always the same every year for early rounds of any cup competition, school are still off so i imagine some people will be on holiday as well
