The stuff available for free is interesting enough but there's little new there. Does anybody have access to the rest of it?

There’s nothing groundbreaking or anything we didn’t already know. All the analysis is based on the accounts for 24/25 with some educated guesses as to what the reality is like today.

7 consecutive years of losses totalling £393 million. The last 4 of those was a cumulative £272m. In English football only Chelsea, Villa and Spurs made bigger losses

The rest of the article breaks it down, but it all boils down to high wages to turnover, high player expenditure, lack of big player sales, losing assets for free, low commercial revenue and a reliance on Macquarie for cashflow.

All very grim, but nothing we don’t unfortunately know

Anyone who reads it and isn't concerned needs to give their head a wobble.

I am just so used to it at this point, it barely registers anymore

Selling the club is our only chance of survival long-term, so I pray for that and try to ignore the scary numbers.

I know what you mean, you get a bit numb to it.

I was talking more to fans in denial.

I have a subscription and there is nothing in this that you cannot glean from reading the published accounts. I know he also ask questions directly to the Director of Communications so he only gets the party line nothing juicy.

Most worryingly, Top still seems confused about what went wrong, “If you ask me about that time, I still do not understand why we go down. I have no idea. I think the main problem was we had no experience of a relegation fight.”
