Wes Burns signs for Leicester until 2029 - Official

[coolhandfox]

Burns play like me at 5 a side after a curry and 5 pints.

[Bert]

Absolute shite. Bottled every 50/50. Couldn’t look any less arsed to be here.

[moore_94]

Some fans genuinely thought this was a good deal btw

[HankMarvin]

Can someone change the title to Mr Burns signs

[CrazyKopCorner]

Incredibly manages to look shitter every time he plays or more accurately strolls on to the pitch

[Miquel The Work Geordie]

Reaping the benefits of that telepathic relationship he has with Connor Chaplin

[Rubbersoul]

3 year deal for a clearly finished player.

People are paid very good money to make these decisions by the way.

Burns got an assist but he was absolutely terrible today.  He lost the ball virtually every time he had it.

Burns is an experienced, intelligent footballer but he is a winger with no tricks, whose ‘skill’ is just to run past his marker. Unfortunately he’s lost the explosive pace and so he’s a winger that simply can’t beat his man. 3 fkin years ffs.

[Paninistickers]

I'd call him and his agent  in to the DoF office.  Apologise for the signing.  The contract will be honoured in full. Wish him well and tell him to enjoy the next three years with his family on us.

if the lad eventually wants to play elsewhere, just pop over a message.

I can’t even be bothered to rant at how cack he is, today was that deflating.

I did tbf I remember how good he was at Ipswich in the championship a few years ago, but he looks completely finished at this level.

[cropstonfox]

Washed out too many injuries.

[Tommy Fresh]

Remember someone saying they weren't arsed if he was crap in years 2 and 3 if he blitzed League One to help us up. Well looks like we'll be getting 3 years of shite from him

Short term thinking often fails in both the long and the short term. Particularly in the case of Top's Leicester City.

[Ian Nacho]

Only we could get ripped off with 70 grand.

[fazzyfox]

So ineffective he’s having his name changed by deed pole to Wes Mildly singes.
