Super League parasites.

Blame them all you like !
A couldn’t care less attitude and neglect from Aiyawatt/KP brought all this to our door.

They were parasites when we were finishing above most of them; they will all continue to be a stain on this game.

What do we expect? We've fallen so far that clubs will just cherry pick all the talent, what can a club like ours offer them under the current regime?  The future at this moment in time, doesn't look bright.

It's exactly the point.

As fans though, the one fairy tail that we all hold onto is that we build a successful side where 9 of the starting 11 are local academy products who will die for the badge.

Fairies have tails?

He will be going to Man U to play in their u21.

Yes I realise that as he won't be at the level of their first team midfielders yet, but he is at the level of our honking overpaid charlatans. He was underused last season and the same is likely to happen this season. No wonder we lose these players.

Please stop defending the continuing shocking mismanagement of this club and wake up and smell the coffee.

At the end of the day, Page is ok. He's a tidy player with a good attitude. Who knows what kind of career he'll have though, I think it's too early to tell personally. Similar to J Monga, we've only really seen flashes and glimpses. Still sad if he goes because he's homegrown and you'd hope he'd be a main player for us this season.

But if we're able to sell him for £10m and that allows us to bring in a CB who's more comfortable in possession and a striker, then I know what I'd probably do

As a 17 year old he played 18 games in the Championship last season. He wasn't ignored. The big teams picked off our biggest stars when we were in the Prem. We sold at least one big name a summer. This is nothing new, this is not why we are in the shit show we are.

Signing dross after selling our talent has been the issue. Now thankfully we've moved on most of our overpaid charlatans, few more to go but we are now in a position where we can not negotiate with one hand behind our back. If Utd wanted him on the cheap then that time was early in the summer, now it's going to cost them or at least that should be the case.

Even if we are in the premier league Utd come for one of our players 9 times out of 10 they will go, maybe just not as cheap

If he’s not getting in the first 11 this season we may as well cash in. He looked so close but I think he will be further down the pecking order. Yes he will get minutes through the season but look at Alves at Huddersfield… you won’t develop with a handful of opportunities.

If we prioritise him, he will be ready for the championship next season… if we don’t, it will be the same story again next season and he will just end up walking anyway.

The replacement Ben Nelson sale

So we lose 2 for the price of 1 then essentially, when nelson goes next summer for free

Wouldn’t be surprised if someone tests us for Braybrooke by time window is closed given his contract situation

Think that would tip me over the edge to be honest

Selling Page, Fatawu and Monga so we can keep Skipp, Faes and Okoli. I ****ing hate it.

And yet the fee we get to cover the hole we are in will still only be the financial equivalent of geting a chocolate cake thrown in your face and using a handkerchief to dab your mouth clean

Yeah, only Faes, Okoli, Hamza, Thomas, Coulibaly, Skipp, Mavididi and Reid to go. Of who at least half will still be here. :(

He won't go for free as he will still be 23 when his contract expires, be a tribunal if he turns us down.

Can still see it being nominal and not anywhere near what we could potentially have got this summer. They will price in uncertainty surrounding his injury.

no surprise really given theyve been looking at him since the start of the window

can image the club will want closer to £20mil and a sell on clause for Page....

Mad if we can get double the Monga fee for Page...

This is what happens when you don't get these lads in the team. What's the point in staying when you're gonna be on the bench all season.

The only difference would've been a couple of mil more on his fee if he played more.

Once we dropped out of the PL, this was always going to happen. In League One we have no chance of holding on to this type of talent.

Another asset that will be gone. Nelson effectively will be. Imagine Braybrooke is too good not to be playing at a higher level.

And then nothing. Better players are deregistering and there is a lack of immediate path to the team.

KP aren’t putting money in, precarious.

Page should be playing lots of football next year with us. Hay ho life under KP.
