Oh come on we don't need a bloody thread for this, it's three games. Get a grip.

It's an historic moment that deserves recognition.  I'm welling up with pride.  65th in the league has never happened before.

My deepest concern is the club can ill afford anything other than promotion. So yeah it’s only three games but it’s also 5 points off the top two.

A failure sees likely administration and the club stays in a King Power inspired purgatory this season aka Blackburn’s Venky’s situation

2 draws against newly promoted teams from League 2 and a loss against a team that finished 17th in League One last season

Next season we promote, everyone relax 😅🤣

“Its three games”

”its five games”

”its ten games”

”its only half way in the season”

”still 10 games left”

”oh we have left it too late again”

See my post above after 10 games we were 4th last season.

Things can change rapidly.

No chance KP remain if we go into administration.

Or another striker and play 2 in a wank league against wank players.

Nah. Rowett will do.

I’ve poorly typed it.

But we stay in League 1 or fail to show any encouraging form to get promoted (which brings to put a spanner to any purchase deal), we end up a situation like Blackburn and the Venky’s where they just stay in situ because they can’t get any purchase price they want. They do nothing more than sell any asset we have.

What eventually follows is administration because the sheer amount of owning money likely to sink us with nothing else to put towards the Aussie Bank for another loan

Hence I’m finding the ‘it’s just 3 games’ a bit too Titanic esque at the moment. The club has lived in ‘it will be alright’ situation for a while now. We’ve got to be on it ASAP because we are 5 behind already.

Someone clearly missed our positive 0-0 yesterday

I remember after 7 games of 2022/23 with just 1 point accrued and yet another thrashing at Spurs, Rodgers after being questioned in a pre match press conference said verbatim "there's still a very, very long way to go in the season".

I was surprised by that then as alarm bells should have been going off, but obviously he didnt care and was expecting (hoping) to be sacked soon after. That same attitude perpetuated throughout our next 2 relagations.

Same attitude a lot of our own fans have continually had, sadly.

We were in the playoffs after 5 games last season I don't recall any "getting promoted" threads
