Great result but my god what was the point in the subs in 50+ minute, completely changed the game for the worse. .

And what is the point in bobby?

Trouble is we are not going to get anymore reinforcements

Probably doing Mccarthy a bit of a disservice there actually. Barring his passing some of the saves he made looked pretty good.

He'll be aching in the morning stretching like he did tonight at his age lol

Starting to click - still need to be show more ruthlessness up top.

Braybrooke and Page are an incredible midfield two. Staff at the academy should be super proud

Performances against Ipswich, MK Dons and tonight have been steady, bordering on promising, if we can tidy up a bit at the back it looks like we could have something going, especially in the midfield areas with Page and Braybrooke pulling strings

I thought Bristic was decent tonight and his first touch for the 2nd goal shouldn’t go under the radar.

dont understand why he was taken off.

I assume his lack of pre season, he’s  not  played more than an hour since he arrived I think

Would have drawn if it wasnt for McCarthy.

Would have been 5 up if it wasnt for Bobby Reid.

Weird one

This is so bang on lol

Everyone bar Cullen did good things. BDCR missed a few but at least he's getting into the positions. Braybrooke did everything right but the final ball needs to be more decisive. Alves and Page amazing, likewise McCarthy. Can see the potential here though. Souttar I respect a lot to come down to league 1 and decide you'll do your all and try to rebuild your career which is very respect worthy and he did very well.

A concern I do have though is despite the obvious skill our midfield looks lightweight. There'll be games we lose just because the opposing team just kicks the shit out of us. Regardless though great game.

Great results

some great player performances

but, 5 points from 12 is not good enough for promotion. Win the next 2 games with similar performances and we can push for promotion.

play the outstanding academy players we have, but protect them.

probably need to scout some players ready for the January transfer window as we may have players leaving if they carry on playing this well.

Souttar may end up staying if he believes in the project and doesn’t think he’ll get a fast track to the premier league/ European competition somewhere else.

Nearly threw it away at the end and honestly I think there's still big questions on Russell Martins game management, not one set of subs he's made in any game that you'd say improved us, the double sub to bring on Cullen and Burns basically ended us as an attacking force. Wins a win and I'm astounded to see Thomas starting to look like a reasonable centre half (although he struggled with the big lad they brought on in 1 on 1 battles), but I'm far from convinced with a number of the senior players, the signings made or the managers in game ability.

Some terrifying moments at the back but some great football. A work in progress. Page and Braybrooke tremendous but a word also for Luke Thomas. Probably found his level but he’s been excellent the last 2 games

Having Reid and Cullen on the pitch at the same time felt really dangerous.

Both struggling to make an impact and both as muscular in the challenge as a girl guide, bith prone to lose the ball.

We have a load of young Academy products and young loanees, and we really need some experience and steel in there.

So far, neither Reid nor Cullen seem to be what we need.

Frankly the entire team lacks muscle, granted that's the risk you take on when you play a bunch of academy kids. I can see why we keep playing possession football and hiring managers for it, I can't see these being physical enough to do much else.
