It's close isn't it? One or 2 more departures and the dross has gone. Incoming wise, an out and out, known goalscorer at this level would be the dream.

Our best "new" signing will turn out to be one of the youth academy players that are now being given the chance to shine (probably will be Page). It's pretty much a complete overhaul. With the singings and youth players you're looking at 13/14 "new" players in a match day squad. It needs time but a lot of positives from the last 2 games.

what concerns me is our 3 promising youngsters in page, alves and braybrooke will start to shine and then be sold in january for financial reasons and we will be left with cordova reid and cullen :(

It’s a pretty incredible window, if you think about it… a club with no money being able to bring in 12-13 players.

The sales for Fatawu, El Khannouss and Monga each probably raised more than all the signings combined :D

we still owe king power money from unpaid loans they clearly want back before selling us, as well as our commitments to Macquarie , so I do still think it’s quite impressive what we have done.

Its absolutely fantastic.. obviously we'd have loved to have shipped Okoli and Faes but otherwise what a great job

Theyll need a few games to gel and work out the best 11.

I reckon Peterborough at home will be when we finally click and look a proper unit to fear in this league

Had a complete overhaul, Russel, although not a popular choice is doing his best to get the fans on side, finally getting to see the academy like we've been calling for.. so I guess we need to give them a little time now and get behind them

For Context:

Out of the 20 man squad that got relegated at home to Hull City in April only 4 of them still remain here for this season! ( LT, BDR, HS & JS)

An incredible job to shift so many on and to replace so many areas with either academy lads coming through or good characters that have a desire to be here! 👏🏻

The turnaround in players has been amazing. Obviously we don't know how it will work out but there now seems to be a good blend of young loaned players, our returning academy players and experienced players that have been through league one, championship winning times. But please stop this playing out from the back. I was there today. It stresses me out. Nothing gained from it.

Quite an impressive window. Just need time to gel as a team. A good goal score would have been nice. But you can’t have everything

Hope not. Could have new owners by January 🙏🙏🙏

Easy to say on the back of a home win in League bloody 1, but the transfers (out) and especially the academy lads breaking through do help me think we’ve finally started turning the corner.

It would’ve been unreal to get rid of Skipp and ‘Stephy’ permanently as well as the clown Faes. So it could’ve been better.

We won’t know if any of our signings are particularly worth getting excited about until November time realistically.

I think the most significant takeaway is us turning down the United bid for Page.

If what’s said is correct then maybe the financial situation isn’t quite as dire as I and others think. Apparently the decision was made to reject after a meeting with Aiyawatt, Rudkin, Martin and McArron yesterday morning. Does this mean we now have a board actually finally working together?

However I wouldn’t put it past them to be turning down money we can’t afford to either 😂

Time will tell

Actually think it’s been a really good window on paper and I am generally intrigued as to how we use everyone, especially in midfield.

Page, Braybrooke, Lundstrum, Chaplin, Burns, Howell, Doyle, Alves, Cullen, Watson and the fans favourite Bobby. Have I missed someone…

CB will also be interesting - are Okoli and Faes just going to sit and rot for the season?

Considering how low my expectations were this summer, I’m really pleased with what we’ve done.

Shifted far more out than I thought we’d be able to - still would like to see Faes at least go.

not wholly endeared to some of our signings but I can understand pretty much all of them and there hasn’t been too much blocking of our younger players

23 out (a few more including end of loans), 12 in and most of our best academy talent promoted to first team. Far better than I’d hoped for & feeling optimistic.

And ....   a WIN!!!!!!

Outgoings have been very very good. Shame we couldn't shift Faes and that a few turds only went out on loan.

Transfers in are a bit soon to say. Happy with some of them. Others, like Cullen, look poor.

On the whole pretty pleased with our business and have got competition for every position. Just need to flog Coulibaly, Faes & Okoli to Turkey/ Saudi.

Stolarczyk / McCarthy / Ravizzoli

Joseph / Aluko / Coulibaly

Souttar / O’Hora / Okoli

Kangasniemi / Nelson / Faes

Mcfarlane / Thomas

Page / Lundstram

Braybrooke / Doyle

Burns / Howell

Chaplin / Cullen

Alves / Watson

Riis / Bristrić / BDCR
