Fully expecting to lose this 4-3 or something stupid. Defence can be so unorganised and lazy. 

 

Only so much the attacking players can do. 

 

Need to score about 5 to feel any semblance of comfort.

Looked so much more assured with Lundstram in there. Finally a bit of leadership in the middle of the park

Still not having Cullen, his only two moments were the disallowed goal against Northampton and today, both instinctive shots on his left. It's like we're playing with 10 men still as he's just not in the game.

Lunstram so much better in midfield than Skipp. He offers intelengience and stature in there.

Cullen hardly got a mention after his goal, which was, admittedly, a well taken one.

 

I think Lundstram is a positive addition so far, Page is levels above.

 

We are still playing that to-me, to-you rubbish at the back and it's really risky.

I was kind of hoping Thomas would be alright now and found his level i.e. Div 1. But reports seem to tell a different story.

Something I like about Lundstram already is his willingness to use whatever foot the ball is sat naturally at.

 

Apparently, he’s right footed - I couldn’t meaningfully tell that from that opening 45 minutes.

Weird half really but definitely an improvement. 

Couple of goals out of nothing but not created anything else. No real threat from wide. 

 

On the ball Page and Lundstram have been good. Riis has linked up really well. 

Cullen scored and not sure he's touched the ball since,  good finish though.

We were told by Swans fans that that's what he is and does. Largely anonymous for the 90 but will pop up every now and then with a goal. Sometimes decisively, others not.

Unfortunately that might result in Martin persevering with him in games with that in mind.

Or - as I keep pointing out, Stockport get a easy ball into their front 3 and suddenly our front 7 are having to turn and sprint back.

Why are we pressing their GK with a flat 4 up top. Easy press to skip. Alves wasted on left. Braybrooke to advanced. Souttar couldn't pass wind let alone a ball to a city shirt

O’Hora and Lundstram are two players we’ve missed for years. Look more solid team.

Actually quite like Riis. Got a decent touch for a big man. Bit of a snore fest though. Need to kill the game off instead of stepping off and letting them back in

Really wish we try and attack their goal when the break is on. Really frustrating that when we can create a goalscoring opportunity in 2 passes we choose to stand still and pass it back to a defender like we're already winning by 3 goals.
