Has Martin turned the corner and we should support him?

I'm not particularly against his style of play. There's been pockets where it's looked beautifully fluent.

 

But I'm aghast at his eye for a player.

 

There's a diametric opposite to the players who offer energy enthusiasm, talent and some positivity versus the players he prefers. 

 

I don't like also that the young players have to walk the tightest of tightropes. One error or sloppy pass, and they're done. Whereas his preferences have an unlimited error allowance in credit.

I took a deep dive into the stats and xG and stuff and did quite an in depth analysis on his time here but also his career thus far and found out, empirically, I just don’t like his face very much.

The thing is most of the 'old school' come out for the bigs games all stone island up yet when it comes to it shut themselves,I was a prominent member of the ybs when we started it up,was always us young lot Avin a row,we were game as ****,hear the young lot now are(I'm 30) and av mrs and kids and don't bother anymore,pisses me off that you get the so called old school sitting in family stand with the kids in the s.i gear,yet when push comes to shove and it's gonna kick off say 'av got me kids',that's well and fine but then don't wear the clobber to say your a lad if your a has been,most so called lads ain't even as a row,gaur enter that out of 50 lads(hate it when folk say there was 200 there today)only a dozen tops will av it,the rest **** off back to the tavern and av the cheek to say they've just 'had it'!

When all this money was being wasted we were told we couldn't complain because we were in league 1 once.

 

Now those constant mistakes have led us to league one we are told we need to suck it up because we are where we are.

3 wins in our last 4 and Luton game was a load of shite, should’ve had a pen and lundstram never should’ve got a second yellow.

 

The performance wasn’t great today but we won 3-0. All it takes is a little run of good results and all of a sudden we are pushing the top of the league.

 

You've got to respect someone lecturing someone else on not focusing on what should or shouldn't be and what is, but then going on to do exactly the same thing.

Unfortunately he'll never turn it round ,due to him ,the players and the general apathy around the club .Can't see any change till new owners and a change of direction,which makes for another wasted season .
