J Carragher wearing 23 for them?

Edit - oh, it’s Jamie’s son; that makes me feel proper old!

That's nothing, Ian Wright has a 25 year old grandson playing professional football

He's 100% let go of some ideological sacred cows like insisting the GK must pass it short etc but ultimately after today despite winning I've come to terms with the fact that our squad simply is league 1 quality. Martin can't improve Braybrooke's decision making on releasing the ball or BCDR + Cullen's inability to string passes together on the counter. To put it simply our manager is about as shit as our squad is and in a scenario like that I don't really know what sacking him does to help.

Some parts of the game were old school slapstick comedy for sure

We should not be here. Yes bet one of the top six I get it. We've just beaten the bottom of the league. One we should not be in.

This is beyond a joke.

Think you need to get over this “we should not be in league 1” shite. We are in league 1. We need to get out of league 1.

3 wins in our last 4 and Luton game was a load of shite, should’ve had a pen and lundstram never should’ve got a second yellow.

The performance wasn’t great today but we won 3-0. All it takes is a little run of good results and all of a sudden we are pushing the top of the league.

No we shouldn't be in this division. We've been badly run for years. Beating 3 bottom 4 sides in our last 4 games don't cut it for me.

Mahrez, Mags, Kante and Drinky bought for £25m sold for £210m. Most of the sides we are playing would have to sell 50 players to take that money but be nowhere near our profit. We've wasted 100's of millions to become an average L1 side.

So no I'm not happy because we've beaten three bottom four sides. And know I don't accept we are a div1 side.

And yet we are in this division…

Those player sales were also nearly 10 years ago, that money is long gone and yes it was wasted on shit.

No one’s asking you to be happy but you need to accept that we are a league 1 team.

3 wins in 4 and a cpl of mins away from a point at Luton with some really dubious reffing decisions. Not perfect but it's promotion form. Does it mean we've turned a corner, absolutely not - and we are likely to shit the bed in the next few games. The football is poor but so is the league. It's all very meh

Beat Stevenage and the corner is at least in sight.

We got 9pts in the first 8 and now 9pts in the last 4. From a results perspective we’ve clearly turned a corner, albeit on a small sample size. The question now is can he maintain it.

Bradford & Huddersfield back to back in November will be interesting.

It’s not likely but if we beat Stevenage, rest the starting team for the cup games and then win these two. The league will look a lot more favourable.

3 wins out of 4 is great, hopefully it gives the players some confidence to go and win more games.

That said, you can't count wins against bottom, 22nd and 18th as anything overly positive. We need to be beating those teams and credit is due for getting the job done, but if you aren't beating that trio then you are in trouble anyway. We need to build on these wins against sterner opposition for there to be any semblance of corner turning.

No, all the Martin issues are still there we simple have a better squad than 90 % of the league (we should we the huge budget for the level)

we very well may get promoted but I just don’t think Martin will ever be humble enough to make the needed adjustments
