Anyone seen smile 2 who enjoyed the first one? Any good? Keep meaning to watch it.

Thought the first one was decent, the second is similar, if you enjoyed the first you should like the second.

Don't think I could do the audiobook now that I have all the voices in my head.

I need another audiobook to listen to, if anyone has any suggestions. Would love another Andy Weir but he must doesn't write enough.

Denis Villeneuve confirmed for Bond.

He’s going to smash it.

Probably the best choice besides Christopher Nolan.

I'd say Robert Eggers would do a great job, too.

I'd say Villeneuve has overtaken Nolan for me in terms of directed films I get the most excited for.  Both outstanding.

Enjoyed 28 Years Later a lot.

Enough of a link to the originals but also can stand on its own without them.

Agreed. Amazing film and was expecting to be disappointed but wasn’t at all.

I’m a bit late to Eggers so have only seen Nosferatu; he’s definitely in auteur territory. Though he has said in interviews that wouldn’t want to do something in modern day as he hates the idea of photographing an iPhone lol.

Can you imagine a concurrent Bond series set during the war? Oof.

Absolutely. Just hope Nolan can sort out his sound obsession for The Odyssey.

I believe this movie is on Netflix, I watched it on another platform. Superb acting, a hard story but make sure you watch every moment. It’s auto biographical and you may need some tissues at throughout, especially if you’re a dad.

The roy keane and mick mccarthy film looks to be interesting. I never realised at the time how much a big deal it was in rep of ireland. At the time i just assumed keane was sent him over argument with the manager over the training preparation.. i never realised till i watched documentary recently there was a lot to it. Which of course will be covered in the film no doubt. It was clear this ill feeling towards each other had brewing for some time, out of nowhere Keane just seemed blew up with a massive rant at mccarthy.

Yeah watched this in the cinema when it came out. Genuinely one of the most moving films I've seen in years, with an insanely good chemistry between the 2 leads.  Had me blubbing my eyes out.
