Just watching Godzilla. I'm almost at the end now and all I can think is - Cloverfield is so much better.

Good film to exercise bike through though as there's no story at all to have to pay attention to.

Found it really disappointing.

 

Yeah lots of action but absolutely no story, actually nothing else other than action.

 

I think I already commented that it's basically a shoot em up game made into a film.

The Equalizer- First half of the film 6.5/10 second half, especially the shoot out at the end 10/10. Definitely worth watching.

Watched Edge of Tomorrow last night. Thought it was fantastic, although like all time-warp films some of the rules they set up didn't seem to be stuck to.

I really liked that too, as seen on another review it's basically Groundhog Day crossed with Starship Troopers. What's not to like!?

Anyone seen Deadly Prey (1988)?

 

I saw it recently and thought it super. The best worst movie ever.

 

Some ex special forces guys who were trained by the best, and yet they have no tactical nous whatsoever. Mike Danton is hilarious.
