Recently got my 4k disc of Blues Brothers,  watched the extended version since it had both,  loved the restaurant scene :)

Nice musical numbers too...

Got a few of my favourite werewolf movies on 4K and normal Bluray this week in time for the spooky season.

An American werewolf in London and Dog Soldiers on 4K and Ginger Snaps on Bluray.

Along with The Howling and Howl, they are my top 5 werewolf movies.

Can't remember it so perhaps not, do have a few other werewolf movies in my collection, the Ginger Snaps prequel and sequel, Cursed, The Wolfman, Curse of the Werewolf, Wolfen which is stretching things but It's roughly in that genre

Found this going on about up coming lycanthropic movies.

Added this to my collection, on Bluray, another take on the werewolf, reminds me a little bit of Brotherhood of the wolf which I've still got on Dvd.

Went to see Shaun of the Dead at the Showcase last night, it's been rereleased into cinemas to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Love that film.

I’m perfectly alright, Barbara, I ran it under a cold tap.

watched the horror/thriller 'Speak no Evil' last night with James McAvoy, whilst McAvoy was brilliant, the film was okay. I'd already seen the Scandanavian version made in 2022 which I prefered, deffo worth a watch though.

Hearing that the new Joker is a huge disappointment. Anyone seen it yet?

Yeah, not reading much positive about it.

I like musicals, so I'd still check it out.

My mate watched it and said it was fine despite all the bad reviews. He says people probably didn't realise it was a musical.

Curiosity got the better of me, so I’ve just been to see it.

I thought it was disappointing, but still enjoyable enough. Some great parts, even though the songs do become tiresome.

I haven’t been to the cinema for at least a couple of years. There is no etiquette anymore. People on their phones, people loudly eating/rustling and the couple next to us were audibly getting annoyed every time Gaga sang lol

I havent been out to a movie in a few years, and even back then I found it to be that way. I can't even imagine it now.

I'll check it out when it's streaming.

That people simply don't know how to rein it in and fail to consider others in the cinema is depressing

We went to see it last night, enjoyable but tiresome sums it up perfectly.

Think the problem with the recent dislike of the joker is that its a musical. Naturally people who dont like musicals are not going to like. Bit of strange move considering how good first one was... sadly i think this will bomb... musicals aint for everyone. As a musical its probably a good movie. I haven't seen it yet and not sure i want which is a shame as im just not musical fan and wanted to see a joker sequel that doesn't involve singing and dancing.

Haven't seen it yet so please don't spoil it, but how are people not understanding before seeing it that it's a musical? The promos have made it pretty clear, and it stars LADY GAGA for ****s sake.
