Raises the issue of Masood coming in. Unbelievably good signing but I do wonder how it might upset the balance of a winning side.

They may well look to extend Green's loan after the white ball tournaments, if Van Beek will be stepping aside for Masood.

I read that 215 has been the 14 game average for top two although given everyone is beating everyone, it could be even lower this year. So 100 points from our last 8 games. 3 wins would probably do it.

Absolutely stunning start to the season! What's been so impressive is how it has been a real team effort with everyone chipping in at different times. Momentum and confidence are powerful forces and we have both in abundance!

Ian Holland is the divisions top wicket taker with 27 at 15. Ben Green is third with 21 at 18.

 

Scrivo has 15 at 25

Hull 8 at 27

Van Beek 19 at 27

Mike 10 at 30

 

Absolutely superb and definitely where our success this season stems from.

 

With the bat Handscomb is averaging 57 and Budinger 40. Mike, Hill and Cox between 35 and 40.

 

Patel 22, Ahmed 25 and Holland 25.

 

Mahmood coming in to shore up the top 3 might actually be ideal as the Summer goes on but really hope we can get Green back for more Championship games. Green and van Beek have also provided over 200 runs each with the bat so won't just be missed for their bowling.

Can't imagine Green will be playing Friday with the T20 starting the following week
