We're just missing too many first teamers and our squad is not strong enough to cope. Hull and Ahmed have only bowled in about half of the games, Holland has missed it all and Mike has only played a couple of games.

I think this would be our best team:

Budinger

Patel

Masood

Ahmed

Kimber

Cox

Holland

Trevaskis

Mike

Scriven

Hull

Not been able to play this XI even once in the campaign.

Ian Holland isn't contracted to the club to play T20 unfortunately

Looks like bashir will be out of the next test wonder if rehan is in with a shout.

He would be an upgrade on Bashir but I think they’ll go with Dawson or an extra seamer. Rehan doesn’t like golf.

I think Rehan will be unlucky because he's not bowled as much this season. Long term I think he'll benefit from the clear improvement there's been to his batting but right now he's got no form as a spinner.

Leach is a no brainer for the remaining tests, form spinner by some distance and slots in to Bashir's place. They're set on Bashir long term so Leach also easy for them to drop again when it comes to the Ashes even if he bowls really well this series.

I'm going to my first cricket match tonight at Durham with my 12yo son

I was wondering if there's any etiquette with flags and Leicestershire gear. Is it okay to sit where you want, sing what you want and drape a flag where you want or is there an away section as such?

Yeah it is very much more relaxed.

I would image a handful of other foxes fans will be there.

If it’s your first name then after the firth over is completed, you’re supposed to remove your clothing and run across the pitch, making sure that you jump the wickets and don’t catch the bails with anything

looking forward to the videos !

Checking the forecast, I can't see this being anything but a 1pt wash out unfortunately

As below, nothing to do with anything apart from the fact he has barely bowled this year, and has obviously not been bowling for several weeks. Shame, otherwise he'd had been a good wildcard pick

Renan will end up becoming Rashid effectively for England

I reckon Rehan is already a much better bat than Rashid. Although the latter seemed to regress in terms of batting as his career progressed. If anything I wonder if Rehan will go the other way and do a Steve Smith - hopefully with similar results though that could be too optimistic! Can see him becoming a very good top order bat who bowls a bit of leg spin in white ball but is a part timer in red ball cricket unless it's a turning wicket.

I could be wrong though, suspect he can do whatever he wants with his talent if he applies himself.

Weather looks shite. If it goes ahead I'll see you there.

That's keeps us in it as long as we beat Yorkshire and Derby beat the Bears although Notts can overtake us with 2 wins

Be very shocked if it even starts. Women’s game been abandoned. More rain forecast.

Kimber picked up in the Hundred draft so he'll be missing for the one day cup. Not sure he has done enough to warrant this but the shorter the format the more suited his game is to it, so he'd probably do best in the T10.
