Yep heard it. Infuriating to say the least. Didn't give any indication of how the club can move forward.

Think it's been said before but where is the application from this side?

Horton needs runs as he has done nothing for nearly 2 years should lead from the front.

Klein and Parkinson batted well.

Cosgrove better still gave it away though as did Swidels but positive signs.

Need tons

Not correct to say nobody is interested as lots of people follow the game while they are at work etc, but of course that doesn't bring money into the club and attendance at matches. Effectively we need the white ball formats to subsidise red ball cricket as a longer form game is always necessary while we have test cricket.

We are massively subsidised by the ECB. Have been years. Without its support we would have gone into liquidation years ago

5 down now! What time are they allowed to play until?

Not sure if it's supposed to be 104 overs again already bowled 86 not sure  how many overs they lost for the rain delay.Cosgrove 3 not out off 47 balls never thought I would say that

Take a bow Cozzie who said he shows no application great effort by all the batters today

Fair play, I’ve  questioned his application but he has shown what he can do this week. Let’s hope it is the start of a prolific run for him

Better certainly. Still giving it away whenever we get a start. But better. The fact you can't tell much difference in scores between 1 and 10 says alot, but still it's better.

Decent draw I think

We play a poor Middlesex team at home on Monday. Evans for more runs for the 2s and Taylor played too, although he didn’t bowl. If fit Taylor comes back in.

Possible line up:

Horton

Evans

Azad

Cosgrove

Ackermann

Dexter

Swindells

Taylor

Klein

Wright

Abbas

That strengthens the batting and gives us six bowlers

In poor form  I agree but there a good side wish we had Robson Malan R Jones Gubbins Finn who should be fit etc in our side not sure any of our players apart from Abbas and maybe Ackers would get in the Middlesex team.Hope Stirling plays great player to watch

Not going to be much play by the looks of the forecast, shame as this fixture was a cracking game last season.

5 points for 11 overs of play with no ability to amend that result is harsh, you get more for losing.

Should have declared and put Middlesx in reckon Abbas would have been unplayable in the conditions
