I think there’s been times in recent years I’d thought the club not existing any more would be more likely than see it promoted to the top flight.

 

Huge congrats to everyone at the club. Everyone head to a party outside Lewis Hill’s house.

Bloody superb. Been a fantastic season, so well deserved. Now let’s go and win the thing. Been the best team all season. 
 

Really hope we can secure it at home against Kent as it would be very fitting to see us lift the trophy at Grace Road.

Brilliant stuff. 22 long, grinding, gruelling years where the club was kicked about on and off the pitch. Hopefully we can put a squad together to make us competitive.

 

The fans deserve this. Regularly told their club offers nothing and should go- they can watch First Division cricket again. A One-Day Cup and a four day promotion in three years, superb.

Pretty disappointed with the coverage of the moment promotion was secured and the celebrations after. Would have been fantastic to share it with the fans. There is clearly a live stream up and running with camera and microphones. 

 

With richard ray saying something like "if you will excuse me I am off to enjoy the celebrations" well take a microphone with you and cover it you doughnut your meant to be a reporter.

 

Oh well hate to dwell on a negative what a brilliant moment for everyone associated with the club!

Just as well I've got tomorrow off, might have a few shandies tonight!!

 

The corridors of power at the ECB must be in a panic, "Is there a points deduction we can drum up for the Foxes, perhaps 50 lopped off for an unfairly large playing area and another 20 because both sightscreens are the wrong shade of white" etc. etc.
