It won't be easy to recover from that deficit. Relegation anyone? lol

Your not kidding, four go down in that League as well, I was thinking they might be a good outside bet all of this kicked off, and by this I mean before Eddie Lewis got injured, Richard Cresswell went on his merry way, and of course now the 15 point deduction.

Just put this into perspective, a 15 point deduction would of seen 12th place Port Vale relegated from League one this season, and thats with the 4th bottom team finishing on 47 points, that could be as much as 4 or 5 points more this season, Leeds my need as many as 65 - 67 points, just to stay up. Enough in most leagues for a 10th, maybe even 9th place finish.

Unless this is reduced or, and by or I probabley mean and, they get another 10 decent League One players in, I'd make em near enough faviourates for the drop.

Looks like they'll be spending at least two seasons in League One...

Oh dear! lol

You could say it's a bad time to be a Leeds fan. Doubt they'll go down from this though unfortunately.

Anyhoo

As it stands it is a 15 point deduction, and with a few of thier decent players being sold,

them not being able to sign any players, and not forgetting the current players are not getting paid;

I can realistically see them being relegated this season.

Which would be a shock to Chris Kamara** who according to this month's FHM sees them as being an almost gurantee to get promoted,

I mean our woeful team beat them away last season, and this season they will have a very different/weaker squad and not forgetting the absolute c**t of a manager they have in charge so I think that at this rate they will really struggle to just survive in League One.

Wow it's a bad time to be a Leeds fan.

I think that as soon as Leeds were aware that Mr Bates was going to regain control of the club after the administration process, they were worried.

He is abit of a disgrace to football in my eyes.......

Anyway its all good regarding all of the other 91 Football Clubs. lol

Bates will be forced out soon, either by the courts for his tax-dodging scams or (more likely) by thousands of seriously-miffed locals.

But we should continue to enjoy his reign while it lasts! :D

This is what eventually happens when you spend nigh-on £300 a week on Fish.

And many other money wasting things.

Probably true. :(

TBH when you step out, take away the facts that it's a club must people dislike managed by Dennis Wise, and look at it rationally, it is pretty harsh, their financial troubles have seen them docked a total of 25 points. After some of the things certain clubs have been allowed to get away with (West Ham, and the insignificant points deductions handed out to the four Italian teams) this seems a bit over board to me. It will probabley get bought down to 10, even that will leave them in serious shit. Im confident 15 will seem them relegated.

I think part of this is revenge for the way they went into administration last season to avoid a points deduction this season. Also the way Ken Bates has sold himself the club back on the cheap and cheated the creditors has left a nasty taste in the mouth.

It will be reducted, just like the deductions handed out in Italy.

Sadly yes.

But for now.

I hate Leeds.

TBH when you ... look at it rationally, it is pretty harsh, their financial troubles have seen them docked a total of 25 points.

But this isn't a punishment for the same offence is it - this deduction of points results from the Revenue appealing against the decision to sell to Bates the first time.

If Bates wasn't trying desperately to run away from the financial obligations he took ownership of then there wouldn't be an issue.

As it is, I think they have got off lightly seeing as the alternative (a seriously considered one from what I can gather) was the retention of their share...thus folding the club.

Still, the fun doesn't stop here - Leeds fans follow up their protest last week (where all the scraves and flowers have been removed by the club!) by organising a demonstration today with the sole aim of getting Bates out of their club. They are expecting 4-5,000 according to one of the organisers.

There's a part of me that finds this all highly funny, but there's a growing part of me that wants to declare my solidarity with fans of a club that is being royally shafted by a piggy-eyed, greedy little beardy bastard.

Fans stage shirts and shoes protest against Ken Bates

Leeds United fans stripped to their waists and removed their shoes as they chanted 'Bates out' during the club's 2-0 friendly defeat at Burnley on Saturday.

Supporters chanted 'Get the Chelsea out of Leeds' in a reference to the links chairman Ken Bates and manager Dennis Wise have had with the London side in the past.

At one stage the song 'Shoes off if you hate Ken Bates' prompted many away fans to remove their footwear and hold it up in the air.

The protests followed the release of fresh details regarding Bates' purchase of Leeds earlier this month.

As reported in Saturday's YEP, KPMG sold the Whites back to their chairman even though one of his rival bidders made a bigger offer for the club.

Anonymously-owned offshore company Astor Investment Holdings helped swing matters in Bates' favour by agreeing to write off the £17.6m it was owed by Leeds – but only if he won his fight to regain control at Elland Road.

KPMG put United up for sale on July 6 after HM Revenue and Customs challenged the accountancy firm's original deal to return the club to Bates.

United are waiting to hear when a Football League board meeting, called to discuss the crisis at Elland Road, will reconvene. A meeting on Friday

was adjourned and is due to recommence early this week.

United players are set for crisis talks with their union as the club's summer of discontent rumbles on.

The Professional Footballers' Association's deputy chief executive, Mick McGuire, has confirmed he will be meeting the Leeds squad on an as-yet-undecided day this week.

High on the agenda will be the delay the players faced before they received their wages for June.

But McGuire told the YEP the meeting would also address a number of other issues, the exact nature of which he declined to comment on.

Asked who was responsible for setting up the talks, the PFA boss said they had been "jointly initiated" by United's players and the union.

I have sent a strongly-worded e-mail to the BBC  I think it is digusting that at such a crucial stage of the season they are not showing an accurate league table http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...v_2/default.stm.

It should be;

1 Bournemouth 0 0 0

2 Brighton 0 0 0

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3 Bristol Rovers 0 0 0

4 Carlisle 0 0 0

5 Cheltenham 0 0 0

6 Crewe 0 0 0

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7 Doncaster 0 0 0

8 Gillingham 0 0 0

9 Hartlepool 0 0 0

10 Huddersfield 0 0 0

11 Leyton Orient 0 0 0

12 Luton 0 0 0

13 Millwall 0 0 0

14 Northampton 0 0 0

15 Nottm Forest 0 0 0

16 Oldham 0 0 0

17 Port Vale 0 0 0

18 Southend 0 0 0

19 Swansea 0 0 0

20 Swindon 0 0 0

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

21 Tranmere 0 0 0

22 Walsall 0 0 0

23 Yeovil 0 0 0

24 Leeds 0 0 -15

Leeds wont recover from a 15 point deduction, League Two for Leeds!

Ta Tar

leeds have no chance what so ever...and there pre-season form as been terrible and with wise in charge of them, them going down and down makes this extra sweet.

Unfortunately, I still think they'll survive.

It wont be easy at all, they need 5 wins to make zero points and by that time, a lot of other teams will of picked up around 5 or 6, the relegation contenders anyway.

lol
