Trav Le Bleu Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Peter Reid? He's fat, he's round, we don't want him in our groooooooooound! Peter Reid!!! Peeeeter Reeeeeeid!!! Unfortunately, if I were to kill him, it would be called murder - as opposed to the act of a savior
Trav Le Bleu Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Btw... I'm NOT condoning the mercy killing of Peter Reid!
Brainy Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 just said on TalkSport that Peter Reid is set to be announced in the next 24 hours Don't stir things up. The presenter just said that they are about to announce Peter Reid, though he gave no source or anything half useful.
JoeyB Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Billy Davies, getting tonked at Liverpool, got done over by spurs and are bottom of the league with 1 point!
Mickey O'Neil Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Think I'd rather have Warnock than Megson or Reid.
Thracian Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Peter Reid? He's fat, he's round, we don't want him in our groooooooooound! Peter Reid!!! Peeeeter Reeeeeeid!!! Unfortunately, if I were to kill him, it would be called murder - as opposed to the act of a savior I wish you'd post more often - light entertainment for free.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Reids des[erate for a job and therefore would be up for being Mandaric's gimp....
Mickey O'Neil Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Calderwood Not taking anything away from Scottish footy or Calderwood, but I find that a bit strange seeing as MM said he's looking for a manager who won't be out his depth (or something like that!)
Shipman Out Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Not taking anything away from Scottish footy or Calderwood, but I find that a bit strange seeing as MM said he's looking for a manager who won't be out his depth (or something like that!) 100% agree, and someone with Premiership experience and not SPL! dont want someone who is a risk from Scotland again. Jewell the man for me, but have feeling he will turn it down and Warnock will end up here.
Sparky Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 of the names im hearing at the minute im sort of coming roung to the idea of warnock
Bert Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Warnock - a manager you love if he's yours, one you hate if he isn't. I wouldn't mind him here. I doubt it'll be that Chelsea dude, Milan wants a man whose been there and done it, prime candidates Jewell or Warnock.

bainesy Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 just said on TalkSport that Peter Reid is set to be announced in the next 24 hours Seems that he is going to be offered the job.at Leicester.Willie Miller and JC to have a "meeting" tonight. Seems strange that JC asked Chick Young before the interview to not mention the Leicester job in the interview. :itch-chin: a couple of quotes off the AFC web forum. read into it what you will
Mickey O'Neil Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 of the names im hearing at the minute im sort of coming roung to the idea of warnock Strange enough, so am I I'd love Jewell here, but you've gotta ask yourself if he could work with MM. I don't think he could. I think the same goes for Warnock as well. This is why I'm struggling to see further than Megson or Reid.
Raj Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 After Spurs' last minute draw at Fulham,my dream of Martin Jol coming to City may be getting just that little bit closer!!!
adam Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 I hope we dont go for this Calderwood character. Surely we could do better and he looks a little like Barry Fry. Never good.
Webbo Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 After Spurs' last minute draw at Fulham,my dream of Martin Jol coming to City may be getting just that little bit closer!!! Spot on. Come on Levy, sack the fat Dutch bast@rd.

bainesy Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood has failed to douse speculation that he is a target for Leicester City. Asked about the possibility of a transfer to the English Championship outfit, Calderwood informed BBC Sport, "I would not get too excited about it. Let's only concentrate on this game against Kilmarnock." However, Foxes owner Milan Mandaric, who sacked Martin Allen this week, said, "It is only someone speculating. There is no truth in this whatsoever." what do you think?

I agree we must trust him, and whoever he's pick's as the manager I will support (Whether I agree or not i'll give him a chance) but not sure I can believe too much of what MM says anymore. Basically if Milan is saying something I like i'll believe him, if it's something I don't like or someone I don't want managing our club i'll put it down to him bullshitting 'again'!

blufox13 Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Heard from a very good source that there is un-rest at Derby with Davies and how he's spent his money. Davies was aproached pre-Derby promotion/Allens appointment. Could this be our next manager??????
