As a way of escape from the real world, on Friday we went to see Spamalot at the Concordia theatre in Hinckley. (Thereby missing the City game, phew)

For a small amateur theatrical group, it was excellent. Well produced, staged and directed. Very close to the West End show (having watched YouTube clips) but for £14 a ticket, well....

Well done to all :appl:

I had 2 dental implants put in on Friday (2 front teeth) and it's been a long weekend of pain, healing and my face swelling up like a chipmunk. A few months ago I had the two teeth extracted and a bone graft to support the jaw bone as an infection had pretty much killed the bone,  also im having a couple of veneers and whitening to improve the whole appearance (very costly!).

Swelling has mostly gone down now thankfully just got to hope my body accepts the implants! By summertime I should have a good set on gnashers again. Look after your teeth folks lol

I'm in Barbados, been drinking starting at 10am, do I take a break and and go to a brewery.  Ride the day and keep 9n drinking or socialise with the wife?

I find that continuing drinking helps with socialising with the wife.

Unless you're on the Red Stripe. Then it becomes a different kind of socialising.

Socialize with the wife,  soon enough she won't want to continue and then you can get back to drinking.

A tad odd because just now, I almost put gin in Mrs Para's cup of tea and I actually put milk in my G&T (only a drop, before I realised)

Gin and milk could be a thing.

First Mother’s Day in 52 years without my Mum.
Visited the grave etc. Sad day.
Be nice to your Mums folks, you’ll miss her when she’s gone.

I've just cooked mine a nice roast chicken Sunday dinner. She's cooked plenty for me over the years so now it's my job! (plus she always overcooks it and I'm a better cook now any way :P

Ohhh nice! Totally jealous of you for two things. 1) vacation 2) your son isn't at the talking back stage of his life yet.

Lol

Have a safe and fun trip!

Cheers man!

It won't be long. He's got a cheeky side to him so I think the talk back stage won't be too long to follow after he learns to talk lol
