Oh those calls can **** off - I had one this afternoon from Scouseland:

"We understand that your car was in an accident"

"I don't have a car"

"Did anyone have one while using your car"...

My colleague's mobile rang the other day, he picked it up and said "I've done it but there's blood everywhere" and put it back in his pocket as if nothing had happened.

 

Apparently he does it all the time with these phone calls

I'm doing that next time I get one of those!

get the tonsils out. I had 3 bouts of tonsilitis in a year before getting them out last May. Not had any similar kind of illness since.

Had a pretty decent day, finally exchanged contracts on the sale/purchase of my house after it dragging on for about 2 months and now just chilling at home with a beer listening to music.

More importantly how's the dream job going, no regrets?

 

only does 3 days and still not up to speed with it yet but it is more fun than most jobs (i assume).

 

eg. today i watched sky sports news, had a few bets, talked about this weekend's footy and us open, made some betting markets and did some work, watched a bit of the scotland game then went home. 

 

once i settle in i assume it will only get better. people all seem legit too, very relaxed environment most the time as long as nobody does anything wrong
