Have posted this in the City v Chelsea thread also but please can anyone and everyone pass on if possible (thanks)

It’s a bit late for me to be posting this but just a thought about possibly having a minutes applause for a big City fan, my mate Simon who died at 48 years old at his home last night.

he used to go with me in the 80s and 90s to City games home and away as much as we could back then. Glamorous away trips to Port Vale away and Hull City away (Boothferry park) stand out as the grit and grime of following an awful City back then took a grip.

Anyeay if if this can be passed on in anyway I would be grateful. Perhaps a minutes applause in the 48th minute? Just a thought as I know it is difficult but his family are devastated and something like that might just give them a moments cheer in a fashion

Up the City

genuinely gutted, will miss you Si

Sorry to hear this mate.

Travelled from Harris to Countesthorpe in a day, broken.

'Kin'ell I thought my drive from Broughton to Elgin in 10 hours was bad enough.

Oh, right.

We put something on our cat for the same purpose and she hates it. We have to put it between her shoulder blades to prevent her from cleaning it off again but I didn't know you could get a spray - I'll have to look into it.

Sounds like Revolution for cats. Vets sell it by your cats weight and don't reccommend it for kittens under 8 weeks of age. Its a once a month treatment for fleas, heart worm, ear mites, hook worm and round worm.

You definitely can't spray it as that would make your cat sick. Applied on the neck between the shoulder blades. Into their skin. Don't want kitty lickin that stuff

Always look forward to the once a month Cat wrastlein sessions and have the scars to prove it. :) From the US so it might be different there.

Sister sent me a photo of my 6 year old nephew... in a Liverpool shirt. Genuinely gutting.

Look on the bright side, Bovvers.

At least it wasn't Spurs.

Got family from N London so that would at least make some sense. Brother in law is from Glasgow and has never been to Liverpool... so inevitably supports them.

It begs the question - how come you’re a City fan?

Other half of the family from Sileby and were more passionate about football than the London lot.
