Was lucky enough to be invited for a day at Silverstone as a guest of my mate who owns a Mclaren ...   after being a passenger for most of the day he let me do a couple of laps ...  what a blast ! ..  managed to scare him to death trying to catch up with a Senna ..  :) .   Had to clear the track a few times so a chappie called Francois Perrodo could take his F1 car out (the one Hamilton won the championship in a few years ago) and he was quite quick but then he let a friend of his have ago ...  young Frenchman who is destined for the top apparently (can't bloody remember his name though) and jeez could he drive ...  first time in the car and he posted a 1.30 something lap ...   I'll know it if I hear his name again.

Haha she's alright really. Asked me the other day if I've got somewhere to keep all my paperwork and if I had any stationery at work.

 

Today, she's come home with a 3 tier storage thing to keep paperwork in on my desk and enough stationary to keep a primary school going for a year...highlighters, pens, markers lol

 

Probably because I told her I'm allowed a photo frame on my desk, she thinks it'll be a photo of her and the kids in it. It won't. It'll be Kasper and Wes lifting the FA Cup lol

Pizza takeaway completely messed up my order! Been sat here waiting 40 mins! Always difficult balance to strike on to how to complain before they've handed over the food!

I received an email this morning informing me of the latest Covid restrictions at my daughter's primary school; aside from the minor detail that my daughter left primary school eight years ago, the school in question is located in Wellington, NZ.

What's there to complain about? If someone's made a mistake and all it's meant is that your delivery isn't with you as quick then complaining seems a bit of a nob move.

I feel like 40 minutes isn’t even that long to wait for a takeaway lol

Also this, but I assumed he usually got it within 15 minutes and this was a BIG deal. I'd usually expect anything up to an hour when placing an order for food haha
