What's there to complain about? If someone's made a mistake and all it's meant is that your delivery isn't with you as quick then complaining seems a bit of a nob move.

I feel like 40 minutes isn’t even that long to wait for a takeaway lol

Sorry I didn't make it clear. I was sat in the actual takeaway waiting for my food 40 mins still after they told me to collect it!

I've got the next 3 days off for a whirlwind tour of the UK.

Driving to Glasgow in the morning to see Biffy Clyro tomorrow night.

Then down to Manchester Friday morning for a New Order gig that night.

Then Saturday afternoon, back home to Northampton.

It's going to be a wild few days!

Hope you have good time mate. Little loose on your use of the word tour there though Tom, driving a few hundred miles up the M6 and back with a stop lol

Got a letter from the Nhs today confirming my hernia surgery. On the letter it had my age (33) though I thought I was 32.

Feel like I’ve lost a year of my life.

Put it down to waiting list delays due to Covid

Will you be delivering parcels en-route? Amazon must love you.

Haha, thats so funny as I had the exact same thing, been telling a new coworker I'm 31 but in fact 32 and turning 33 this year. Depressing. You lose track after 30 it seems.

Yeah I’m the same. It’s my mates birthday today (who is the same age as me) and I needed that to remind me how old I was.

You know those days where everything you do is wrong or things that shouldn’t go wrong do…yeah had one of those today. From the moment I got up and falling down the stairs and burning my toast, I think I knew it was going to be one of them!

where’s the beer??!!

Mine was also today. Two cards sent on Monday both by first class mail from different parts of the country still haven't arrived here. Is Leicester's Royal Mail service falling apart?

Come on Para, that was so last month.

I'm back selling cars now.

Sold one that's in Newcastle, considering picking it up on my way down from Glasgow lol

Wow. Biffy Clyro were fvcking incredible.

No way New Order beat that tomorrow.

What a night!

The Glasweigan taxi driver that's just taken us back to the hotel was an absolute gem. Couldn't understand a word he said, but nodding and saying yeah seemed to do the trick lol

Stopped off for lunch in Bernard Castle, big shout out to the guy who saw me sat outside the pub and said "Good lad" when he recognised my City shirt lol

Mine was also yesterday. Two cards arrived this morning which were posted on Monday, both within Leicestershire.

The fact that you couldn’t find the beer probably explains the falling down the stairs. When the fun stops, stop.

Got home around 1.30 this afternoon. Totally knackered and drank far too much over the last couple of days.

I had waited for it since last November though and it was absolutely awesome.

The Mrs did the final leg of driving from Manchester to Northampton.

Watching the tennis tonight, then straight off to bed, back in work tomorrow. Should have booked it off too, but cars won't sell themselves.

The first gig I ever went to was Oasis at Knebworth. Biffy Clyro undoubtedly the only act that's ever come close to that.

Definitely going to see them again, but a little bit closer to home!

Moved my eldest daughter into her student digs today. Seemed very weird leaving her there. The house will be much quieter with 1 person less (and probably much tidier and cleaner).

I may have to talk to the wife now.
