I had an alright day, but in episode 3423 of someone else having a shitter day we discovered that my wife's best friend's house was wrecked in a fire a couple of days ago. There's never a good time for that to happen, but 2 weeks before Christmas, bloody hell. At least all persons and pets got out ok

That’s grim, hope they come out of that as well as they can.

We spoke to them today and they're OK. Our main worry was that they might not be insured, but they are. Folks' kindness has made them feel a lot better about it all, and they were thinking about moving anyway so they're relatively philosophical about it

Good that they are insured, hope they don’t have anything that’s irreplaceable.

Got me panicking about my football shirts now.

Cheers, Milo. I'm now scared to go to sleep lol

I was at a wedding yesterday - very churchy and formal.

Ages ago, as a bit of a wind up, my nephew told a friend of his that was also going that owing to the time of year the dress code was Christmas jumpers.

So - this young man turned up to the service…

Had a customer use the word 'darky' today when referring to a black person. Initially I was completely shocked and didn't pull him up on it but after sitting there for a couple of minutes I had to say something to him. I work in a bookies so naturally you get a few undesirables but that's no excuse.

I've just received an email, at 11:22pm with an offer of employment!

A very strange time to receive it, but absolutely buzzing about it.

Still in the motor trade, but much more money and a company car included.

Can't wait to get started in the new year.

One downside though...I'll be selling brand new Fiat's lol

They'd better not give me a Fiat 500 as my company car!

Do I need to go hospital for a broken little finger?

Wife broke hers a few years ago.. did nothing for a few days, then it began to atrophy... needed extra rehab to fix... moral, go early, get it sorted.

they wont do much other than bandage it to the finger next to it, so do that. if it swells and goes purple or looks like its not getting circulation, go to A&E

So now we've learnt all about Peugeots, we have to start all over again with Fiats?

Haha! Yes we do.

I need to learn a lot about them myself first. It's a multi franchise dealer, Fiat, Seat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep and Hyundai.

I'll just be with Fiat to start, then hopefully progress to Alfa.

Congratulations, I'm really pleased for you 😊 Still local for you?

I've had a couple of Alfas, absolutely loved them. Both Guilliettas, one diesel then a petrol. The petrol was the best car I've ever had.

Good luck with it, I'd say let us know how you get on but I know you will lol

Thanks.

It's in Bedford, I'm in Northampton, but it's only an extra 15 minute journey.

Getting across Northampton is a nightmare.

Cheers, that’s exactly what I thought so that’s exactly what I’ve done. What can go wrong eh? Probably nothing, but if it does my lawyers will be in touch.

This is not the answer I wanted to see lol. Probably going to be Thursday at the earliest I can go to the hospital.
