Just tried that Portuguese place on Queens Road; Port & Nata. Staff, drinks and starters were great but the mains were just pure salt.

I used to really like the coffee in there. Was a regular throughout lockdown. I think it's called a Galao? Best coffee round Queens Rd for me. Never got to eat there though.

Feel so flat today, struggling to get motivated for anything. Work's been a bit crap recently and I'm feeling tired and jaded.

Can't wait for a Christmas break so I can spend two weeks drunk and feel even worse at the start of January.

Just won the big cash prize at the quiz. £68.

It's always a completely random numerical answer.

This week was "In what year was Moorfields Eye Hospital in London opened?"

I was 1 year out

Cheered me up after watching us play yesterday and covers the cost of our Everton away tickets, which I deeply regret buying.

Don't even mention Man City away, I've ruined Christmas!

I’ve got tonsillitis and I’ve been in absolute agony since Sunday. Not pleasant at all.

Ouch. Hope you feel better soon, people think it's just a bad sore throat until they have it, it can make you feel really rubbish.

****ing weirdest thing, just turned up at the station and the biggest ****ing crow you’ve ever seen, almost looks like a ****ing Raven is perched on the rails. I’ve walked past it and it’s ****ing gone for me, flew at my head and started pecking the back of my head lol I had to go full Steve Irwin on him to get it to leave me alone.

Sounds like something out of The Omen.

Their protective nature makes them regard anyone incurring on in their territory as threats. They don't usually attack though unless defending their young, protecting their habitat, or remember you as a threat. Crows can bear grudges and even pass these on. Who have you been upsetting?

Tend not to judge, you don’t know what he’s going through. He’s probably a Leicester fan too for all I know bless him.

Or in fact, she!

Stone the crows!

(Or maybe not, sounds like the other crows might react badly)

My best Steve Irwin impersonation evidently got lost in translation!

Ah bloody hell how did I miss that!

I was actually a bit sad leaving the office today.

As much as I've had to work from home over this pandemic, the switch to hybrid for the last few months really broke my week up and I valued the social interaction.

Breaking off for Christmas soon anyway but could be a long time before we return. March if we're lucky

Wow is that what it was. I could hear one making a right racket I couldn't see it though, even when I leaned right out of the window, it must have been virtually right above us.

Wonder what they were doing?

Shit day, shit week, shit month.

Everybody wants it all done before Christmas and I’ve gone totally against my MO of under promise and over deliver. I’m literally drowning in work and I’ve got to work the whole month every weekend right up to Xmas eve because I’m a twat. On top of that I’m supposed to be going on some product training that would be interesting but I’ve got to cancel as I just don’t have time.
Hope this new covid shit ****s off soon because I want to book a big expensive holiday in Barbados for my wife’s 40th. We’ve not been away abroad since July 2019 and I’m sick of it.

I hate this time of year.

I have mate, it’s mostly down to poor organisation this time.

I’ve had a couple of jobs overrun and a few get rescheduled due to materials not being available.
Instead of just being firm with dates I’ve just rolled over and I don’t know why I have lol.

Christmas break cannot come soon enough, I’m knackered already.
