Don't.

If it suits you, it suits you.

Unless you tell me it's a Dacia lol

What have you got?

Had a couple in earlier, lovely people, bought a Mondeo estate, brand new 20 years ago.

They're now looking for a newer car as its nearly dead and will fail its MOT in February.

They just want something to last them 10 years until they think they'll stop driving.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

With regular servicing, that'll literally do enough miles to get you to the moon.

Nowt wrong with that. Keep hold of it mate.

I know, that's why I love it. Although I had to sort out a DPF issue recently, but I saved the car and learned something.

My car failed its MOT yesterday. I just wish I hadn't pondered so much last year when thinking of getting a new car, the same ones are about 3k more now. Only ever buy cash and within my budget, and it's served me well, but I feel I can't justify sticking any more money into the current car now, despite how much I love it. Not really touting for business with you Tom, still just looking for an older a class at about 6k, could've got one last year, bloody 9k now.

It's a tough market right now mate, not sure how much I can help, but I'll certainly have a look

DPF is expensive!

It's like a tea strainer for your engine.

If you ever get an issue again, the first fix, without a full refit, which costs thousands, is to blast it down the motorway in third gear lol

If you get any 220d autos 2013 or newer in part ex and can sell it less than 6k (such wishful thinking) I'd probably have it off you that day haha.

I got it flushed out by a specialist - and yes, he told me the best way to keep it tip top, not quite what you said but close enough :)

Although I work for a massive PLC with over 150 branches, we have rules of what we can get from other branches...under 5 years old, not a problem. Older than that it won't happen.

But if I take in a part exchange, by all means mate.

I'm slowly moving away from the car thread and maximising myself on all threads lol

I only said I'd had a good day and met lovely customers!

But as I've said lots of times before, PM me if you would like any car buying advice. More than happy to help, even if you're not buying from me.

I do this every day. Some people buy cars once every 5 years.

Never want to see any of you ripped off

Wow is that what it was. I could hear one making a right racket I couldn't see it though, even when I leaned right out of the window, it must have been virtually right above us.

Wonder what they were doing?

****ing weirdest thing, just turned up at the station and the biggest ****ing crow you’ve ever seen, almost looks like a ****ing Raven is perched on the rails. I’ve walked past it and it’s ****ing gone for me, flew at my head and started pecking the back of my head lol I had to go full Steve Irwin on him to get it to leave me alone.

Perhaps it was trying to give you Corvid-19?

I've been appointed to teach a full day at a well regarded private school from January, with scope to increase to two days after summer.

Difficult to convey how huge this is for me at this stage of career and life.

Congratulations and good luck!

Just think, you could be the man who creates the next Boris Johnson.

I had an alright day, but in episode 3423 of someone else having a shitter day we discovered that my wife's best friend's house was wrecked in a fire a couple of days ago. There's never a good time for that to happen, but 2 weeks before Christmas, bloody hell. At least all persons and pets got out ok
