Following on from slipping a disc last week, just by getting out of the car...

It goes one of two ways. Crippling sciatica 90% of the time, or, in my case today, a completely fvcked up neck.

In absolute agony. The slipped disc is manageable, but not being able to turn my head awful.

And how did that happen? Well, I walked out of a petrol station and just got an intense shooting pain. Genuinely thought my head was about to fall off.

I wouldn't wish back/spine trouble on anyone.

Apart from maybe Brendan Rodgers and Peter Taylor.

Gah.

Couldn’t sleep so decided to check my booking in Amsterdam. How much? I swear I can get it cheaper. Oh look, much better hotel for less with a banquet breakfast.

So I cancelled my hotel booking and went to book the new one…only it transpires that the site has only quoted a daily rate and didn’t include taxes. So, rather than saving me cash, my imbecilic insomnia brain has just cost me an extra £135. I am all kinds of idiot.

Weve all been there... keep checking lol

Have you tried doing Yoga or Pilates mate?

I used to suffer from a bad back so started going to Yoga about 7 years ago.

To begin with, I was the only bloke in the class but I'd say about its now about 20/25% men of my age and above.

I have zero back issues now and feel more flexible than ever.

I haven't. I know you mentioned it before.

I just do some basic core strengthening exercises, which have definitely reduced the frequency of me hurting my back.

I should probably give it a try.

Made the worst cash out of my life.

8 fold over 1.5 goals.

Huddersfield scored a 98th minute goal after I'd took 16 quid instead of holding on for about £127

FML.

Man why cash out for £16 from a tenner?!

It was literally after 95 minutes.

Thought I'd take my money and reinvest.

I'm an idiot lol

I’ve been there. In those situations it’s best to leave it and not even check and take the loss. Then if a last min goal happens you’re buzzing.

Loving the 2023 update of the Wham classic.

Last Christmas

I had some back pain

I took Tom's advice

And it took it away

This year to save me from tears...

I’ll massage my thorocolumbar fascia.

(struggling to find the next line)

Option A)

I’ll invest in a foam roller.

Option B)

I’ll massage my thorocolumbar fascia.

I've had a lovely night.

Watched the first half of the Man City game, then SPOTY, now the second half of Chelsea v Newcastle.

All possible because the Mrs and kids have gone to the pantomime at the Derngate Theatre in Northampton.

And before anyone tries it...oh yes they have :D
