Was in a meeting at work today.

Arsenal fan asked me about the 2016 season as he found out I supported Leicester. How it was and how each game was etc, proper into the excitement etc...

Then a Man Utd fan and a West Brom fan both tell me to get over it lol

Never!

Got roped into running the line for my son's U16 team this morning.

It's been a while and I've come to realise that an unfit 51 year old has no chance of keeping up with play of fit sixteen year old kids.

Add into the mix playing in a storm with my glasses steaming up and the sideline being a mud bath and it was a recipe for disaster.

Luckily I didn't make a compete twat of myself and the lads won 5-4.

How did @Izzy see it thorough steamed up glasses?

Unless he's Michael Oliver.

He saw a milf and suddenly had 20/20 vision for the rest of the match. Third eye!

I've never seen Baby Reindeer and only figured out who she was after I'd told her that I had no interest in what she was telling me and asked her to leave. Googled after she left and, yep, it was her. Ranting about Richard Gadd, her lawyers, the busker on her street and how Netflix are going to pay her £300 million. If she does get a payout, I suggest she invest some of it in a tracksuit that isn't 5 sizes too small and some deodorant.

You're next

I can live with that if she wins the £300 million from Netflix. I'll be an attentive and dutiful boyfriend who constantly showers her with tokens of my love. You know the sort of thing - flowers, teddy bears, cards, dehydrated papaya.

Had to have one of our pets put to sleep this morning. Easily the most heartbreaking decision I've ever had to make. Fvcking horrible.

Sorry to hear mate, thoughts are with you.

Never a nice thing.

When our cat got to the end I had to take him to Leamington as it was out of hours for a local vet. The journey was unbearable with him wheezing and crying and gasping.

I've witnessed death in many forms but to have to endure his final moments was heartbreaking.

Going through at the moment, no motivation in terms of my job of late... just had enough. Don't like the politics surrounding the job and management living in a different world, want out but there's just no out their that excites me to move on to. Health wise not good, got bowel issues. Got chrones so yeah been a rough patch of late, that's dragging me down. My dad is still poorly and having lots of tests  at the moment, so a lot stress surrounding that present. Just never ending at the moment. I don't think living in my flat alone is not doing me any favours at the moment, constant negativity going through my mind all the while. Wish I could stay with my girlfriend for a while but she lives in Countesthorpe and cannot commute from there to work. So tempted to just stay my folks for the week. Got some annual leave next week, which is much needed. Could do with some welcome distractions.

Sometimes it's like one thing after another.

Jet lagged as anything and my other half was up all night with either norovirus or I’ve given him Food poisoning.

Broke a rib about 3 weeks ago so I’ve barely had a full nights sleep in that time. I swear

if I’m up all night shitting myself it’s going to push me over the edge lol

Is it a job that you can leave easily or something quite niche?

Changing workplace often does give a new energy when feeling like that.

I can leave alright but just not another job to walk into. Looking around my options are limited, no car makes it difficult.

Sorry to hear that mate and best of luck to you with all of this. Keep your head up and I hope to keep reading about your travels with Nuneaton in the non league thread. I’ve googled a few places due to your posts on where you’ve been with boro, so I’m relying on you to continue pls

Every  Christmas my Mum buys my elderly Aunt a calendar. This year Mum wasn't able to go and purchase from the usual supplier. I've had to order it online. My buying history now has a Cliff Richard calendar listed. Please shoot me now 😧
