Moose's post started off well then tailed off to the usual  nonsense disguised as humour. It gets a little boring and stale after seeing it repeated a few times. I normally just skim over his posts. No doubt I have brightened up his day by giving him a mention.

BTW can someone claim for the biscuits and drinks on their expenses account, those on benefits are not allowed to. :P

You do know you are over occupying and there will be a 50% charge?

I'm not - look at all those cats I'm sharing the place with. :D

Foxhateram's bus drove by the Safe House a minute ago, seenitall is sitting in the corner, rocking back and forth.

okay, so we're putting everything into storage for now, but you do realise that next season this place will probably require an extension?

We'll have to upsize to bigger premises. We will need a bigger bar, a psychiatrist to deal with depression and security to stop fights from breaking out and a bigger kitchen for the women.

And a first aid kit for Rincewind when AoWW gets here.

Having just seen the pre-season games threads, I'm just going to make sure this place is stocked up...

If we lose the opening games of the season, you may well see me in here for the first time!

If we lose the opening game of the season and people start acting like morons, then I'll set up residence in here and just give up on the main forum.

Bit superfluous. If we lose any game people start acting like morons. We could play against a full strength Real Madrid side, lose by 1 goal (itself a dodgy penalty) and people would act like we're conference bound.

You mean like last season against Monaco! lol

In fairness, we were poor against Monaco. Although the amount of people that couldn't see that they were a champions league chasing side with money to burn and we were second tier promotion hopefuls was embarrassing.

It will be a big shock for our fans to experience a relegation battle next season, since 2008 our lowest finish is 10th and the closest we've been to the relegation zone is 25 points.

There will be no middle ground next season, every win will be almost open top bus celebrations and every defeat will be Apocalypse-like.

I'm reasonably optimistic in thinking that there will be at least  three teams that will be shittier than us. Top of my head QPR Burnley Aston Villa I'm sure there are at least three others who will fight it out at the bottom and one team rooted there all season.

I can't remember a poorer looking Premiership,  west ham, west brom, villa, burnley, hull, QPR, stoke, swansea, palace, plus a team like southampton being ripped to it's bear bones, loads of teams who don't look good at all, we'll have to be pretty awful to go down.

I agree. The top 7 picks itself (Chelsea, Arsenal, United, City, Liverpool, Everton, Spurs) but then I can't really see any team that I think look exciting... Maybe Sunderland/Southampton are in for a top 10 finish?

I think we underestimate most teams in the P'ship as we're conditioned to see them getting spanked at Chelsea or Liverpool every few weeks, but the bottom half is still a million miles ahead of anything we faced last season.
