Barber, Radio Leicester.

I was unable to make the game today at Loftus Road and relieved after the lads had let us down again today. So I tuned into radio Leicester and not for the 1st time this season as I tend to listen to commentary when I am at the Walkers. And I have to say Jon Barber seems very sadistical with his commentary and is almost laughing his head off and extremely excited when the oppostion score, I think his lack of knowledge of our club and ignorance to tactics and his arrogance get a lot of peoples backs up. Am I the only one who is in the mind set that radio leicester should remove Barber from all Leicester city games, he is not exciting and not passionate about Leicester

im shocked to see how he still holds this position , he knows feck all about what he is trying to comment on and his facts are shocking

today he said " we will be having a minutes silence for Ray Jones "

infact it was a minutes applause for Phil O Donnell

how long will he be aloud to get away with it , i shared a studio with him few years ago after a 2-1 defeat at home to QPR and in person he seems a decent chap but he just aint up to it . Id love to do his job and extremley confident id make a better job of it than that ! :frusty:

He is just one on his own Mr Barber, he ass licks the Birch and walshy and thinks he is something he isnt. Mate of mine who works at the club reckoned mad dog couldnt stand him, and that his arrogance and aura really pissed people off. Barber shows how disrepectful he is with comments like a mins silence for Ray Jones when infact it was Phil O'Donnell. I also got annoyed with the way his voice sounds disapointed when we do something or the tone of excitement for an away goal. I did think he was disrespectful to the 2,500 people who went down to london

He has no clue to any knowledge on the team and needed to refer to Matt Piper who to be honest sounded like he had been on the drugs for assistance and Piper wasnt that helpful

agree with every word.

we had a corner and he said leicester have won a corner and then he said clemence to take the free kick.WTF

also when steve howard shot and hit the post he made it sound like he had scored saying that was a beauty of a strike and the keeper had no chance then about 30 seconds later says it hit the post.

I don't listen to him that much, never listen at the ground, and can't get away matches on the radio, but I sometimes listen to RL after the game, and I can't stand the bloke. I remember listening to Mad Dog's interview after the Watford match, and Barber was asking such stupid questions, and again on Saturday, don't think Ollie thinks too much of him either.

People are getting annoyed with him, this is the third thread about him I've seen (there's one on 606 as well). Bring back Neville Foulger as others say.

I prefer him to Matt Piper.

I hate listening to Matt Piper - his accent is so annoying...

Also, he is too bias for Leicester. If a City player punched someone in the face he would say it wasn't intentional :frusty:

Barber is spread all over the net and some guy on the lcfc message boards is urging people to complain to the BBC I have backed this guy up and sent mine but we must face facts we are stuck with this **** now for eternity and he has some friends in high places like his mate the birch they make me sick listening to them praise one another "oh yes barberella"

People have been wanting him gone for ages. It's been discussed a lot.

How sodding ageist is that?

Ageist? Not employing people gone retirement age?

You are going to have to help me on this one because it's flying over me.

he just says it as he sees it-City don't have a single player now who would have got in o'neills side--even the youngsters are average-rooney, norman whiteside, ryan giggs--they could do it young-why do we think our youngsters need mollycoddling and bringing along slowly-if they're good enough they'll perform--stop going to the games like i have, when they're getting 7 and 8 thousand for a home match they'll take it seriously and start changing things from the bottom rung!

I thought Nev said he was retiring?

Before the game Barber said there was 3 changes. Which there was, but he initially said, that Kenton was starting and not Chambers. Cock.
