Leicester approach Ince

Wasn't it the MKD who made it public, admittedly it doesn't help especially, as you say if we don't get him; as much as I think MM is to blame for a lot of our troubles you can hardly blame him for this if that's true,

I'm not sure if the MKD made this public first or not, but no, I guess you can't blame MM if this is true.

But what confuses me is the information we were given about the intial list of 20 or so applicants for the job. These were described as being of 'high quality/encouraging' were they not? So, if this is the case, why approach chairmen of other clubs for other possible managerial appointments?

It's getting to a point now where, whatever side of the fence you are sitting on, the media cannot be believed in any way whatsoever.

Hard facts wanted. We get now't.

Maybe Ince applied... it has been said on another forum that he has.

Maybe the other 20 were ok (I doubt they all were), but he would prefer Ince.

Why settle for one of the 20 if you can get someone better.

If it is true that he applied for the job,

Then providing Blackburn get somebody else,

There is a fair chance he might end up here then,

I'd be seriously surprised if Ince went to you lot.

A year ago I was saying that Allen wasn't good enough for you but i'd now have to say that right now Ince is too good and if he does want to further his career it won't be in the same division with a chairman who likes to play hire and fire Russian roulette.

Reckon you'd take Allen back if Ince went? I say if, he probably will go, just probably not to Leicester.

I don't think we'd ever have Allen back. Besides, he's kind of burnt all of his bridges since leaving you lot and committed the worst sin of repeatedly upsetting chairmen.

Ince has been in demand throughout the season and many a club has made an approach - right up to the Premiership. So far he's shown a lot of loyalty and may well continue to do so. I always knew this moment would come when he's on holiday and sort of detached from the club a bit and his agent starts ringing through the offers. It's always when a manager is at his most vulnerable and easiest to get.

I think Blackburn would be ideal for him. It's in the north west where his home is and I can see no reason why he couldn't hit the ground running there and wouldn't blame him for trying his luck.

Nah he isn't ready for the Prem, and we offer an nice chance to make an entrance in the Championship in a season's time. Can't see you lot getting back to back promotions. Bear in mind he could have started much higher than he did, but wants to learn the game.

I think he's as ready for Premiership management as his former team mates like, Robson, Bruce, Keane and Hughes. None of them had to wait as long and languish around with clubs in the lower divisions for too many seasons.

he only has experiance of league 2 so far, so maybe he wouldn't want to jump to the premiership so quickly, work is way through and wait for a job with the big 4.

Paul Ince would be on a hiding to nothing going to Blackburn and trying to follow a class act like Hughes. Despite what many of our pubescent followers might think, the lure of managing a club like Leicester City back to it's former glory's would still a tremendous lure. Only Mandaric's reputation puts a downer on this fact.

I'm not trying to do our club out of a manager but where did Hughes start off? In the Premiership?

MK Dons manager Paul Ince is expected to discuss a move to Blackburn with the club's bosses over the weekend. (Daily Mirror)

Ince faces competition from former England boss Steve McClaren who also wants to be the next Blackburn manager. (The Sun)

But the former Manchester United midfielder's hopes of becoming the new Rovers boss could be hampered by Ince's failure to complete his coaching qualifications. (The Independent)

Ive just been watching sky sports news, thev`ve been talking bout favourites for blackburn job and they have made no official approach for Ince according to Mk Dons chairman, it was also said how Leicester hav put a substunsial offer of money forward for ince`s services! so they think at this moment in time will be more inclined to join us! Mandaric obviously pulling out all the stops to get his man here.

I think that is too much of a jump for ince and risk`s all that he has achieved so far by going into a premiership job, I think Leicester is a better opportunity at this moment in time for him, but only time will tell!

Are you on drugs pal????

ahahaha!
