My upper neighbours with their two kids (read: rascals) being a nuisance almost every day of the week.

Yeah, kids are like that. Sorry on behalf of all parents, but trust me, its not as easy as you assume it is!

I'd like to invite you to live a few weeks and months in my shoes and you'd reconsider. :D

I told the family upstairs a few times in person - I have long working days, sometimes even get dispatched on weekends and thus rejoice at my days off even more than the regular 9-to-5 worker.

Plus, the building I live in has bad acoustics pointing downwards, so whomever is on a lower level, loses anyway.

Yep, that's me.

I expect the parents sympathise... but what do you want them to do?

Once you find the magic formula of getting kids to be really quiet, considerate and well behaved, please share it with me.

It will also solve your issue of working long hours as you'd become an incredibly wealthy man.

The recipe is pretty simple: Let them grow up and hit their heads themselves.

I know, not a quick fix - but at least something to look forward to.

I think you'd concur.

Ruining your weekends daily? Erm.

You what? lol

I will admit it, at first I did not understand the mockery so I googled the word and now I understand! I always have thought it has a similar meaning as 'regularly'!

Jesus- I'm 24 and I have just learnt what daily really mean!  lol

Everyday I nip to the corner shop to pick up my copies of the Regularly Telegraph, the Regularly Mail and the Regularly Star.
