Ridiculous. Spain, Greece and Italy don't have any of these stupid curfews and they all have football and basketball games finishing many times after 12am. Then fans go to bars that stay open until 2 or even 3am and most of these bars are inside neighbourhoods. Nobody is complaining. What's the point having a curfew for a tennis match? Tennis hooligans will go rampage?

What a weird rant. It's in a very residential area and has worked fine for years and years. Also means transport is actually

TV ratings too, I doubt the BBC want to be going till 1:30am because of a tennis match. The ones that matter start at decent times.

Just because it happens somewhere eles doesn't meant it should here? What a narrow-minded, entitled, arsehole POV. Then again, if the boot fits lol

It wasn't a rant, just an observation. The countries I've mentioned don't have any issues with more serious sports events continuing after 12am and I'm stating facts.

Your BBC claim is laughable. I'm not watching it via BBC .

I didn't use any insults to anyone, why are you insulting me? If you live nearby  Wimbledon and can't sleep because of the deafening sound of tennis balls and tennis hooligans why don't you start a petition to move the tournament to the Dales?

Your transport argument is also ridiculous.

It’s a different Novak isn’t it (age obviously a thing)

It just looks at times that even he doesn’t believe it’s there anymore.

He will come through this, but just something missing for me

His opponent had never beaten a top 5 seeded player in his career though. Zverev still should have been beating him. Especially in R1.

He should have beaten a lot of players at Wimbledon but has failed to, rarely makes his seeding. Yeah obviously he should be winning today, but in terms of some of those who are already out, I'm not that shocked by this one.

23 British singles players entered.

Maybe two or three make it to the second week?

...that's starting to look like a rather optimistic outlook.

Come on Jack, sort it out.

(Though Cilic is exactly the kind of player he didn't want to have to play early doors.)
