He did play very well against Cilic it has to be said, brushed him aside really.

Still a rather big hoodoo over this tournament for Murray, one he's never really even done well at never mind win.

good win for Murray against Nishikori, it was a tough match for him but playing these tough matches and winning them will be good for him. he just needs to stay one step ahead of djokovic to end the year as world number one. it is going to be tough for him but that is the challenge he has set for himself

Would be right and fitting the cement the world number one status by winning tomorrow, regardless of who he'll play. Then he can take some really well earned time off.

It is funny people make excuses for footballers having to play twice a week, yet Murray can perform like that having played two of the longest matches ever at the tour finals, and has played nearly every day since September...

6-1 6-1 against the world no.5, world no.5 doesn't hold serve, once.

think he he might be back. Serious advantage in terms of time on court tomorrow as well. Got a nasty feeling he might actually make fairly light work of Murray tomorrow.

Yeah, I get that feeling too, and it would be a real injustice.

Still, Murray will be no.1 again early next year even if he loses tomorrow, and this time he'll be there for longer.

Murray has got to win SPOTY this year I'd have thought. What an amazing end to a remarkable season for him.
