It's absolutely up for debate. Yes he was persuaded against his instincts to legislate to allow gay people to marry: a big step after the Tory party's disgraceful attitude towards gay people for many years previously. That *rightly* built on the civil partnership legislation which I recall many Tories fiercely opposed. Cannot remember anything else that was vaguely "socially progressive" from Cameron. Not a vapour of liberalism left in the Tories nowadays as they grovel for crumbs from bonkers Americans, far right billionaires and their media empires. Conclusion: fake all the way.

P.s. Don't like any revisionism about Cameron or his government. We'll never undo the colossal damage they wrought on our country.

If you can’t see the difference between David Cameron’s Conservative Party and the one I grew up with, then I can’t help you.

No revisionism here.Just stating the bleeding obvious.

Well the modernisation worked for a time and enough idiots fell for it.I have no argument with you on David Cameron and he has a great shout to be in this thread.

Speaking of revisionism.Millibands 2015 election campaign was bloody awful.I felt very down and defeated the day after and with good reason as it turned out.

When was the last time an actual **** was mentioned in here?

Here’s one, my dad’s mate “Geoff”.

Just spent a very frosty couple of hours down the pub listening to him complain about Ed Miliband.

What a ****.

And here.

Here's an idea: let women be free to make these often difficult choices with autonomy?

I love how one of the posts you quoted in an attempt to get us back on track included a quote from yourself saying let’s get back on track. 3 days ago.

Which goes to show that there's rather a lot of need to get back on track :D

For not only sullying the legacy of Tolkien by naming the most shitty products imaginable after his works, but also for blatantly inferring that warfare and killing- sorry, "national service" is something that everyone should be made to do.
