I can't weigh some judges up. This one is reported as acknowledging he was upset standing in the dock today and added, 

"I understand why you were upset earlier. I will sentence you on Friday.

"It will be a very tough day in your life and it will be a very long day."

Ahhh, poor thing. I do hope they go easy on him. 

The judge probably sits next to Mandelson in the House of Lords.

Thank you for your astute and valued observation. I used to into great length on here. But what’s the point now? It’ll only end up in either a ban or back and forth with neither me or the other person (or bot) backing down.

Although I'd say I am more open to debate and engage, and admit when I'm wrong.... Fair point on the rest I suppose.

On top of this the High Court has just ruled the Pal Action ban unlawful.

It's true, the death of roughly 50,000 innocent people (citable figure only, actual figure could be rather higher) in a zone a quarter the size of London over the course of a little more than two years, in response to a terrible act that cost roughly thirty times less lives than that, does rather rob one of their tongue.

 

Edit: not entirely sure why mass death is particularly funny, but humour is, after all, very subjective.

You know I’m on about the ‘protest’ group that commits criminal damage, burglary and GBH on masse in the UK, not the conflict between a terrorist group and The state of Israel. You know, that protest group that causes significant disruption and ties up countless resources.

 

You also know I’m laughing at your response, not the conflict itself.
