Koke Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 It'll be announced in the early hours tomorrow. I usually wake up 6.45am, so I'll catch it in the morning. **** staying up for this tin pot election.

Samilktray Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 Why?.........don't tell me Kanye West has replaced Osama sorry I mean Obama Ive developed an interest in it. And for the 2nd part how old are you? I mean come on now, lets get a grip... it was a fooking stupid thing to say but you do come across as a bit of an idiot.
DB11 Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 Did you hear the news guy last night ? "Will America but a black man in the White House for the first time in America's History?"
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 I feel in a way British people too should have a vote!! It will effect us in someway. Having done Politics at uni I'd vote for Obama...just the change/kick up the arse the world needs and he'll alter the perception of the US after that clown 'Dubya'. And I think he'll win too despite talk of the 'Bradley effect'.

Samilktray Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 44 years of age and coming out with crap like that though. Nearly makes me look mature.

I'd have thought anyone who has studied politics would have come to the conclusion that very little change will take place as Presidents are now at the beck and call of those who fund them. If anyone seriously thinks that either candidate will clean up the world, sort out America's gross foreign policy or improve their international image then they are sadly deluded.

Is Cancer Man from the X-Files one of the funders? I hope so.
Finnegan Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 Is Cancer Man from the X-Files one of the funders? I hope so. Him and Angela Petrelli.

Finnegan Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 With the amount of coverage we have had I feel we should have a say aswell. Is it over yet? You probably should actually care, in all fairness. Daggers' cynicism is justified, but if there's one election globally that does effect this country almost as much as our own it's the States.

Daggers' cynicism is justified, but if there's one election globally that does effect this country almost as much as our own it's the States. There's no point worrying about things you can't change. I just hope Obama lives up to the hype.

Sadly, I'm just as cynical as you. I feel a bit sorry thinking about all the common people that genuinely want to do something about the situation and are enthused by either one of the candidates. It's such a big waste of positive energy
Daggers Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 The only candidate I've ever been remotely interested in was Nader.
shen Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 The only candidate I've ever been remotely interested in was Nader. Yeah, but why bother in that stupid two-party system?
Head Honcho Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 Yeah, but why bother in that stupid two-party system? You mean like the multi party system we have here
Finnegan Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 Yeah, but why bother in that stupid two-party system? Said the leader of the Liberal Democrats.
shen Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 You mean like the multi party system we have here Said the leader of the Liberal Democrats. At least the Lib Dems have a substantial number of seats in Parliament. Third parties in the US don't even come remotely close. But I'm mostly referring to other multiparty systems e.g. in Europe
