Phube Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 7 English players British Manager Top 4 (for now) God MON in charge... EVERYTHING Arsénal aren't!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 They are my favourite Prem team. Them and Everton cos i've always liked Everton and super Timmy plays there. Ashley Young and always loved Gareth Barry, MON's just a bonus
Bert Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 I love Villa. They're prob my favourite prem team too, it's close between them and United.
Koke Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 I do like Villa. And I quite like Everton too. They are everything Spurs aren't - Not overhyped.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Olof Melberg was a great reason to love Villa aswell was an absoulute rock in there defence for a long time
Corky Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 I like Villa a lot. They play good football and almost every match is entertaining. The English players and Martin add to the admiration.
lildave3 Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Young and Abgbonlahor are an awesome pairing. Throw in John Carew and you have a very good attack.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Young & Agbonlahor looked really good last night. Well done Villa. I do quite like Pompey though.
Father Ted Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 At the end of the day it will always be the Villa that we don't like but fair do's to them. Agbonlahor, Carew, Young(s), Laursen and of course King MON. England made a VERY big mistake picking McLaren instead of MON as manager a couple of years back.
Mikey Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 I love Villa. They're prob my favourite prem team too, it's close between them and United. Agreed. I like Villa for the obvious reasons, MON, British Players, Ashely Young & Agbonlahor. And I just love the football United play most the time.
Tommeh Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 The fact that they seem to be arse licked by everyone at the moment is why I don't like them, also their fans are a bit up themselves. On paper though they seem to have it all: Fan friendly chairman - who always listens to them Good away support Great traditional ground Cheapest tickets in PL and not much more for a st than what we pay. Fantastic manager and young exciting english players Maybe I 'm just Jealous.

Lillehamring Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 I do like Villa. And I quite like Everton too. They are everything Spurs aren't - Not overhyped. this is exactly why i voted for you! my bandmates/flatmates supported villa & everton (at the time we were better than them!) so i have a soft spot for them both, been to goodison a few times, too... i think the thing with villa is that they do seem to play alot of british lads, and also cause we are their bogey team...
Floating Fox Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Like them but love Zilina even more MSK!
syston_fox Posted 14 December 2008 Posted 14 December 2008 Villa just don't have that X-Factor in my opinion. It's great to see a team with english players doing well but they're not a team that I'll make an effort to find the results for.
ASH17LCFC Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 Didn't we use to hate Villa ? Brian Little ? Sorry but Villa will always be scum.
Floating Fox Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 Didn't we use to hate Villa ? Brian Little ? Sorry but Villa will always be scum. Didn't we used to hate Germany? Hitler? Oh wait, yeah I forgot, 'we' still do.
ASH17LCFC Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 Didn't we used to hate Germany? Hitler?Oh wait, yeah I forgot, 'we' still do. Pretends he's German. Whishes he was German. Even tells his family they're German. But, he's as German as he is a fu**in' monkey
surrifox Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 sorry but I'm with the "no's" as well. If MON loses 2 on the trot their scummy, whiney fans will be calling for him to be sacked just like they were last season when they hit a bad patch
Ultra Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 And heaven forbid that we'd ever treat our managers as badly as that....
Shrenchel Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 Didn't we used to hate Germany? Hitler?Oh wait, yeah I forgot, 'we' still do. I don't still hold a grudge over Little but it's not a ridiculous thing if some people still do. What teams you like/dislike are shaped by what's happened in the past, that's football. Leeds and Man United still deeply hate each other. They haven't played each other for fooking ages and are 50 miles apart. I don't think you'd compare them to some ****** till harping on about Hitler. Anyway, Villa. Yeah, it's really good to see. Definitely my favourite prem team of the moment. I can see the complete rimming they're getting from almost everyone getting a bit tiresome though.
Daggers Posted 15 December 2008 Posted 15 December 2008 I have always had a load of time for Villa and Villa fans - the lad wants me to take him and some of his mates to a Villa game and I probably will come decent weather; it's walking distance from our house provided you like walking and have some stout boots. I hope MON really succeeds there, it'd be good for another team to break open the Top4.
