DEEJ out on loan

I'm surprised we didnt loan him to Leeds, they must have told us to f**k off :crylaugh:

Why cant we sell him? If Blackpool didnt want to buy then we should have told them tough sh*t.

Seems as though we're bending over backwards to help other teams again. Wonder if they are paying his wages?

I would be mildly shocked if he did the business for them though, biggest waste of money since Akinbiyi.

Haven't you answered your own point here????

You think he's a waste of money, Ie not a great player and then question why we can't sell him and why we are bending over backwards to help everyone else???

We've loaned him out because he doesn't feature in NP's plans but there are no buyers at a price he'd sell at. By loaning him we shift his wages (or at least a good proportion) off of our wage bill and give DJ a chance to impress scouts / managers by actually playing football, which may mean there is a buyer soon. In the meantime we have cleared some of our ongoing costs to allow us to sign a new forward.

Seems like a straightforward, easy to understand and good bit of business by "Nigel the pragmatic"!!

I'd rather have him in our team than Howard any day of the week!

You ever thought of a career in comedy? Christmas videos and all that, very lucrative! :crylaugh:

DJ was always and probably one of the only Allen signings, I called it as soon as we appointed Allen.

When Allen left, DJ was one of the players that was most upset, he even had meetings with Milan about it all.

Ever since then he's struggled with Injuries, what would seem to be motivation, and actually scoring.

Hopefully, he'll do well for Blackpool, and we can either get some money back for him or he'll come back to us and show us what he can really do.

I'm glad he's off, we're paying far too much for a forward who never takes a shot, if the guy learns where the net is he might make a player at some point but I doubt it, pace alone doesn't make a good player and he could never stay onside.

Sensible post. I was bout to say welcome but realised you've been on here for quite a while! Welcome anyway.

Sums it up and Pearson's decision makes perfect sense.

This means we must have a new striker coming in.

Hopefully Dj can build up some confidence and get some goals at Blackpool, then back to us next season and start banging them in, in the championship.

Although im massively concerned Fryatt may now stop scoring and we will end up in the playoffs or worse.

Dickov and Howard dont seem up to getting goals at the moment, at least we had Dj has another option.

Clear to see that a new striker will be on his way in soon, but maybe its time for one of our youngsters to step it up.

Chambers, C.King, Sappleton, Odhiambo, McKay, Kee

It's been ages since we've had a young exciting striker come through, although the truth of the matter may well be none of them are up to it, yet.

He'll have a new striker coming in. I'm quite sure of that.

Good move for both partys. Free's up a bit of money on the wage bill I guess, so Pearson probably looking to bring someone in.

He has never had a run of games at Leicester so will be interesting to see how he gets on at Blackpool. If they play him

I have a sneeky feeling Danny Graham from Carlisle might be on our radar, not sure whether he's good enough though. Not seen enough of him, I know he's a battler. Would rather have Ward from Chesterfield as he is quick as fook.

Wow, I never saw this one comig. I think DJ is quite a good player especially for this league. I would like to see the lad from Chesterfield come in, looks like a good player. We defo need another striker in for backup at least.

Tbh I don't see either DJ or Dickov being useful to us. We needed a back up striker before this loan move, Pearson must have someone in mind to let DJ go. Dickov has not been up to the task, can't even niggle defenders now because he seems that little bit slower. Keeping Howard & Fryatt available is vitally important to our promotion hopes unless we can find another striker who may be able to pitch in with 10 goals/assists in the remainder of the season. I think Lambert would be ideal.

I no DJ hasn't really been good for us, seeing as we paid millions for him, but this doesn't seem put us in the best position right now as fryatt is injured (sort of), meaning for orient we only have Howard n Dickov our most prolific strikers!!! :giggle:

unless Pearson can magic someone up tomorrow or I suppose he could put king on the bench

obviously Craig King, not Andy King for all of you that want to complain

Crazy that we're loaning players out to teams in higher leagues!!!!!

It's because we're that good and everybody else is scared we might bomb them when we play them...!

We're being stripped off our most valuable assets.

then you clearly know fook all about football

I've always said I think once he gets a run of games he'll do well here. But every time I see him I'm unimpressed and no am beginning to think I was wrong. I think this also spells the end of his LCFC career.

Hopefully DJ Will go to the seaside and bang a few in and then they might part with some cash for him. Or Come back to us in abit of form?

He's a legend in my eyes for the looping header over Cudicini at Stamford Bridge!!
