Lillehamring Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 I think the severity of pain thing stems from the fact that after a few days (to allow swelling decrease) a ruptured ligament would hurt less to walk on than a partially torn ligament.Of course at the time, either rupturing a ligament or something more minor is going to be rather painful! fair enough, i was just quoting someone else - notwithstanding, seeing him in pain still doesn't mean he will be out for six months rather than 6 weeks...

Collymore Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Was wondering why there wasn't a topic. We've got two potentially premiership class defenders crocked! We need a replacement Nige
Corky Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Just what we didn't need. Everything seemed to be going to plan, now this.
Sparky Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 What we all feared Lets now hope that he recovers well and can be ready for pre - season .
JoeyB Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Bollocks! Guted! I say we start a get well soon chant to tunchev on Monday. We need to sign John Terry on loan! Milan, get it done.
ploddy Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 We've got some good young defenders who can step up but Tunchev has been quality all season. Anyone know if Pearson has got any money to play with during this transfer window?
Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Think we need to sign someone to be fair, as Tunchev will probably be out for 9 months, which will put him out for the start of next season as well.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Even more worried cos I really don't rate Morrison....
billyfox1 Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 We should still get promoted, we are not a one man team. Although our Tunchlessness may see us concede a few more goals we should still go up. Hopefully this means no one will try to buy Tunch in the summer.
Brainy Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 I haven't seen any updates on the OS since Saturday. I can view the link at the top and I can see the links down the side of that page, but when I click home it just goes back to NP's thoughts from Saturday. Whats going on

Uncle Albert Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 I have all confidence in Jack Hobbs and Michael Morrison. This is just a minor glich. Tunch will be there last game off the season, knowing he has done his bit. Up the City!
RowlattsFox Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Bad news. Think we need to get in a experieced centre half because our back 4 is looking extremely young, unless Edworthy and Powell play. Get well soon Tunch
CosbehFox Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Not good esp. considering City's past record with treating knee ligament injuries.
Guest Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Whens Kisnorbo back? Knowitall said sometime soon when he was asked a few days ago. Hopefully it'll be very soon
Flynny Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 We'll never get someone of his class. We need someone cultured and decent in the air to partner one of our many lumps, though. Any ideas?
