Monk Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Ouch. It didn't look good the second he went down. This is awful news, I wouldn't be as worried if Kissa was fit. I think we have 2 capable centre backs who can cope, but there is no one there to boss the defence as such, other than Martin. I guess the knock on effect could be that we put more men behind the ball and start scoring fewer goals. Scheizer.
Bert Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Foxestalk is'nt distracting you. Look abit closer to home, like your obsession of touching cocker spaniels.
Number 6 Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Bit gutted but let's remain optimistic. This has come during the window, we have time to find a replacement. Plus we are scoring well, we can afford to conceding a goal and play some attcking football and stick a few more in at the other end. Morrison and Hobbs should be able to do the job, hopefully Kis will only be kept as a back up as he seems to have a negative effect on the team. Give Morrison and Hobbs a few games, get to know each other again and see how we play then.
martyn Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 The one ray of light is that he has a Grade 2 partial tear...as such, he might not require surgery and rehabilitation will be much more straightforward.
maddog Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 fooking hell i dont believe it Unbelieveable. We sign the best centre back i have ever seen, and he gets injured. Fook. Thats 1 step to ending our automatic promotion hopes. If Fryatt ends up injured for the rest of the season we will have to settle for the playoffs.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA You're such an idiot.
maddog Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 I know, knee-jerk reactions and all that Well if our 2 best players by a mile are out, we wont be able to score or defend. Lucky he wasn't injured early in the season, and we have loads of points on the board. Not many wins needed now to seal promotion.
Kilworthfox Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Shit a kin Brick! We will stilll be champions however! Milan Get ya Checkbook out!
Uncle Albert Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Well if our 2 best players by a mile are out, we wont be able to score or defend. What a dork!
maddog Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 OH THE IRONY! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAYou're such an idiot. Your the idiots because your so easy to wind up Tuchev is a great player, but we have other good defenders at the club. Hobbs and Morrison can play in the centre. We have Berner Powell and Mattock, im sure they could handle playing left-centre back. And Gilbert at right back. And Edworthy Is Worley injured, or on loan, we could always recall him Positive thing is no ones going to sign him now. We will be ok. We may draw a few more games we would have won, or lose a couple more without the Tunch in, but we already have a lot of points. And as for 10 wins for promotion we dont need that many, we will be picking up draws aswell. But i suppose none of you will acknowledge or read this post, just continue to attack the 'wind up' ones
Corky Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Well if our 2 best players by a mile are out, we wont be able to score or defend. I know, we are top because of two players. King, Oakley, Howard, Gilbert, Dyer, Hobbs- they can't defend or score. Let's give up now
Corky Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Your the idiots because your so easy to wind up We will be ok. So one minute we're fooked, now we will be Ok. Which one is it?
Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 We need 10 wins for promotion. Crickey i agree with you, 10 wins and 4 draws would put us on 88, which should be enough. I don't think there's any need to panic, morrison and hobbs have shown they are both more than capable at this level and a run in the side might give him some confidence.
maddog Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 So one minute we're fooked, now we will be Ok.Which one is it? Seems pretty obvious I just love winding everyone up, its easy. Your all so easy to annoy. Stop reacting so much and il stop winding you up
Brainy Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 So funny reading these posts saying "we're fooked", "we're gonna struggle to finish in the play offs now".

I don't think there's any need to panic, morrison and hobbs have shown they are both more than capable at this level and a run in the side might give him some confidence. We also have Edworthy, Gilbert and our trio of left backs, who could slot in to centre back if needed
Jonezy Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 This hurts, but we can't do nothing but hope he recovers well and will be ready for next season. We have been lucky with injuries so far this season except for Clem, Kisnorbo and predictable Weso, so we were bound to get some. Stinks it has to one of our best players and for the season, but this is a team effort, so we just have to cope. Probably need some kind of cover now, so we can be kind of thankful that it happend in the window, so Nigel has a chance to get someone in. Chances for someone snapping up Tunch in the summer has been severely lowered now though...

Keep on sunshine, you're providing me with a chuckle.
Cobbo Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 I am gutted about this. But it may help us keep him in the long run and we do have decent enough defenders at the club to cover. Also they opportunity to make signings if needs be... Poor Tunch
Corky Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 I'm not sure where you got the idea I'm woulnd up from I'm actually amused. Keep on sunshine, you're providing me with a chuckle. But Alex, we're top of the league through luck and Tunchev/Fryatt, and we've won the league but might not even finish in the top two and settle for play-offs
Dames Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Oh dear. Although i don't think it will do much damage to our promotion hopes. We'll just look abit more flimsy at times.
