Peterborough United v Leicester City Post Match

Still top.

No need to panic just yet.

But we really do need a good win against Carlisle next week to get confidence back up!

Dissappointed we didn't create anything after going two down.

Hopefully the players wont feel the panic like most of this board, because then the pressure might cost us important points. Hopefully the players will want to revenge this over the next few games and step up their game.

Heads up!

Hard luck guys,

never doubted that we would win,

doesn't mean that you are not playing well because you lost to this Posh team,

We are a very good side,

but I hope it's both of us in the top two at the end of the season,

It's a long way from being over!

Just goes to show how we've disintegrated from a footballing side with a useful outlet in Howard to a side entirely reliant on him. Pretty damning.

Sounded like we were played out of this game by a good working Peterborough side. We didn't seem to do much when attacking and it highlights a few points of our style at the moment:

- We are very 1 dimensional and rely on Steve Howard too much

- Matty Fryatt is a confidence player and when he hasn't got someone to do the hard work for him, he will struggle. A good goalscorer but only when he has the service!

- We need a creative midfielder to open things up a bit.

This is only from what I have heard from the past few games, and it's still important to realise we are effectively 2 wins ahead of them. I still believe we are going to go up and most likely win the championship but we do need to open our style and options a bit more. I realise that we were missing a few players today who probably would have made the difference but it does show that we are lacking that quality in depth. Still, I'm staying confident despite this blip in form and think we have done all the hard work enough to go up! Just wish some of the fans will realise this!

No need to panic just yet. Peterborough and Leicester are the top 2 teams in the division. We will both be promoted automatically.

It's now a fight for the title, but with our goal difference advantage, we are 5 points ahead, so effectively 2 wins. That's still a heck of an advantage.

fook all who moan... now's the time to show our strength and spirit . 6 straight wins to come.....particulalry to those who said tbh I knew we'd lose this one........these things happen and I don't need a 10 point gap as long as we finish top that is all that matters, come on you blues!!!

No need to panic, however disappointing our football has become recently.

Pearson is no mug and assuming Mandaric's pockets are as lively as his mouth, the necessary improvements will be made. We'll see off Carlisle next week.

Totally true, as long as we get promoted automatically, I won't complain!

Thought we may lose today TBH.

Not really bothered as to whether we finish 1st or 2nd in the league, as long as we get automatic promotion.

My main concern are Millwall and MK. people are saying that we will not be caught, I hope that they are correct.

Millwall are now 2 games in hand, if they win both of those the gap closes to 6 points with 6 games to go.

It's not over until the maths say so. :fc:

I still believe we are going to go up and most likely win the championship

What?! :|

How can you make that assumption when we're not even there yet? :crylaugh:
