Shrenchel Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Needs more Roddick's girlfiend and less Murray's dragon.
Shrenchel Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Why did you edit your post? This thread is dry, could do with some beef.
Jimmy Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 why is murray standing so deep on the return, he can't reach them cus he's allowing too big an angle, surely he should of made an adjustment by now
Benji Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 ouch great win roddick, if he plays like that he has a chance in the final although i still cant see past federer better luck next year murrary, hopefully he'll come back more aggressive
Milky Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 So who's going to label Murray a choker and a bottler? That's the sort off stuff that comes out at this point. Superb performance by Roddick. Murray will be back, i just hope the public and press aren't too hard on him cus it'll just hold him back.
Bert Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 The best player won, on the day. Roddick had a game plan, stuck to it, and won. Deep down, part of me wanted Murray to go through. He's gone one better than last year, and maybe he can go one better next year.
Jimmy Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Roddick served great and Murray didn't seem to believe he could break him, as said better man on the day won
Jimmy Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Fair play to Roddick, nice modesty there. what did he say, I switched over as soon as Murray missed that last shot
ousefox Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Great tournament for Murray. Roddick was great and i want him to beat Federer.
Benji Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 some of the angles roddick was getting on his ground strokes were unbelievable, it was odd to see murrary so often out angled!
Milky Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 I've never seen Roddick play that well actually. Sure he had the serve (75% 1st! ), but the groundstrokes were amazingly good for him.
StanSP Posted 3 July 2009 Author Posted 3 July 2009 Has to play even better to beat Fed now. Federer and his coaching team will know how to defend and overcome Roddick's strong point - his serve. Should be an entertaining final, one that I will miss
Jimmy Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 people will be disappointed he lost but you have to remember this is his best result at Wimbledon and he has years left in his career, Fed is edging towards the end and Nadal's knees could force him to retire
Milky Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Just looked at 606 tennis for the first time. My god what a bunch of tards.
StanSP Posted 3 July 2009 Author Posted 3 July 2009 Just looked at 606 tennis for the first time. My god what a bunch of tards. There are ALOT of deluded retards on 606
Matt Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Idiot. He supports Paraguay v England, i'll support whoever he plays. I can honestly say no-one I know actually likes him.

Joe. Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Fair play to Roddick, he fully deserved it. His serving was absolutely top notch, and he generally played a much tidier game than normal for his standards. Disappointed not to see a Murray Federer final, but Murray would have been destroyed anyway. Federer to win in straight sets.
martyn Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 75% first serves in by Roddick is sensational, he played an outstanding match and fully deserved to win. Murray didn't play badly, sometimes he just needs to be a bit more proactive at certain points of the match and he'll get more cracks at GS titles. I really hope he can take the US or Aussie Open first, it'll help him at Wimbledon no end. He MUST improve that 2nd serve however.
