Walshy5 Posted 15 July 2009 Posted 15 July 2009 I've watched some of the goals he scored on Daily Motion, they all look rather good. And he's free, so what's the big deal? My problem is that if we sign this guy he will most probably be the only striker we sign and theres a chance he could turn out shite
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 15 July 2009 Posted 15 July 2009 9 goals in the French second tier? Fills me with excitment
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 July 2009 Posted 16 July 2009 I played as Reims on Fifa 09...Kermorgant is rated at 69, a couple of rating points higher than Fryatt and Howard And Jimmy Neilsen is rated something like 70/71, and he's absolute turd.
Ric Flair Posted 16 July 2009 Posted 16 July 2009 I simply don't see what people's problem are with a player being bought in on a free transfer? Ok, if we pay £2 million for a striker, it shows intent and ambition, but it doesn't guarantee us goals and quality, we've seen that before. I know very little about this chap, but some of those goals are absurd. There's ability there, and if Pearson and Walsh think he's good enough then what do we have to lose? IMO we need 2 new strikers and if one of them is this chap and he costs us nothing, then it's worth it, surely? Anyhow, we all love an unknown foreigner!!

tontondan Posted 16 July 2009 Posted 16 July 2009 Exactly, the guy has scored some incredible goals - but, until there is a clip uploaded on YouTube showing the ones he missed, or some of the fluffed assists, it's hard to judge him, but based on the goals in the videos, he looks quality.Although, if you cut together a clip of Akinbiyi's goals, he'd look awesome too! His game is rather that of a 9 1 / 2 or a 10. It was in Reims one who directed the game (its strength one touch ball in the direction of the game of its partners). Powerful and excellent head. Number of assists : 10 and those in the previous year. In Reims, he drew the corners and kicks, it could not be at their reception ... Kermorgant No. 18 A beautiful pass from the outside of the foot ... http://www.last-video.com/boulogne-reims-0...t-gragnic-video A summary http://top-news.fr/reims-strasbourg-video-...me-et-des-buts/ I want to tell you that I want it to play in a french club this season because I want to continue to play, at least on TV.
flanimal Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 So, you're saying you think he'd be a quality signing? If he's so great, why has no one from the French top league signed him?
SMX11 Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 tbh i would rather have this guy than the much fancied Leroy 'seriously overated' Lita.....
flanimal Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Lita is such an overrated twat. Let a shit team like Brum or Wolves have him.
StanSP Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Lita is such an overrated twat. Let a shit team like Brum or Wolves have him. Yeah shit teams they are.

tontondan Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 So, you're saying you think he'd be a quality signing?No... I speak English very bad... I am just a supporter of the "stade de Reims" and I'm in awe of the game for this player that I will regret ... If he's so great, why has no one from the French top league signed him? You're right .... I dont understand me too....
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 18 July 2009 Posted 18 July 2009 Wolves are ok by me. Better than us by miles, I'm sorry to say. Good luck to them in the Premiership.
Samilktray Posted 18 July 2009 Posted 18 July 2009 Wolves, Brum - shit. We all know it. Fucking idiot.
Guest Bilo Posted 18 July 2009 Posted 18 July 2009 That is the thing I miss on FM2009. On 08 I used to just search Slovakia or Hungary age 16 and under and get a few players to scout. Used to find some gems. Can't do that on the new one for some reason I did that once. Plod got all uppity about it and I can't think why.
flanimal Posted 18 July 2009 Posted 18 July 2009 That Man United team are pretty shit aswell Proper shit. £80m in their wallet and they buy Michael Owen. Shitass team!

Aeropars Posted 19 July 2009 Posted 19 July 2009 This is spot on! Absol-effing-looootly!! I wonder if people would have had as much scepticism if we were signing Michael Owen... he went to united on a free. Same principle if you ask me.
