There's so much debate about our outfield players that the performances of our goalkeeper sometimes seem to get overshadowed. Great season so far, arguably our best player along with Fryatt and in my opinion Pearson's best signing on current evidence. WEALE.

Absolutely fantastic signing, Bristol Citys' loss is our gain, what a steal. I liked Fulop, but I reckon Weale is even better. Great discovery by NP & his team.

Jay Posted 27 October 2009 Posted 27 October 2009 Weale is a brilliant signing been player of the season so far for me! he reads the game so well knows when to come off his line, when to kick, punch or catch makes some blinding saves and reads the game so well.

Well done to Weale. He's a cracking keeper to have between the sticks. My only gripe is that occasionally, he's too slow to release the ball with a quick throw, but other than that, his all round game has been great.

He has been consistent, steady, and has grown into a first class keeper. our most consistent player. Well done, Chris. you deserve this thread!
