It's really refreshing to be going to a game and having confidence in the goalkeeper. I haven't really felt like this since Fulop, and God knows when before that.

Probably when we had flowers or walker in goal, seems and absolute lifetime ago.

Great whenever I've seen him, lets hope the Weales don't come off.

Tyred old puns :)

He's so humble as well, says he knows he won't be an accomplished Leicester City goalkeeper for at 3 years and stuff. He just comes across as a nice bloke and someone who wants to follow in the footsteps of goalkeepers of time gone by. Love him.

... and more importantly he shows great desire to improve his and the teams standing, he was very well liked and respected at Yeovil and of course his potential was evident when Gary Johnson took the lad with him to Bristol City. I just feel really pleased that its coming good for him, he deserves the success he's getting and I'm sure he is going to be one of those players that goes down in the Club's history with fondness and a certain amount of pride.

Praise must also go the Nigel Pearson though, he is one of those managers that gets the best out of people (not just players) and I'm sure his confidence in Chris is shining through.

Not just for last night.

There's so much debate about our outfield players that the performances of our goalkeeper sometimes seem to get overshadowed.

Great season so far, arguably our best player along with Fryatt and in my opinion Pearson's best signing on current evidence.

WEALE.

Couldn't agree more. One of his great strengths seems to be that he doesn't do any more than he needs to. The bloke has been Mr Competence and the fact that he's not having to make endless great saves, while being a compliment to the defence in front of him, should not result in us overlooking the stability and reliability he offers. Definitely Pearson's best signing overall.

He was good at Reading but I am still not that keen on him.

When the opposition shoot from distance, Weale withdraws his hand. A couple of times at Reading, he dived and then withdrew his hand.

Richie Wellens was the best signing anyway.

He's been consistently good, not just Reading

He has been ok, but everyone is talking about Reading so I included Reading in the post, some goals that he has conceded he should have done better.

In my opinion, he was late diving against Preston, his wall was positioned wrong when he conceded somewhere, and he often withdraws his hand which I dislike.

He has been better than what I expected, and I am pleased with him.

What Mother Teresa said.

Having confidence in a keeper of his standards is preventing me from thinking we'll lose heavily on QPR, if we lose at all.

Think we'll get a draw. 3-3 :D

Rather they go 3 up and we fightback, as opposed to doing what we usually do and lose our lead!
